All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Towing a 40’ weekend warrior 4005 flt.Weekend Warriors were notorious for extremely heavy trailers, which were always understated by WW. I would imagine a 40 foot Full Throttle model would need a dually...at least that's what I would be looking at.Re: Oregon to charge 25% more for out of state RV campersThat boils down to $5.00 to $8.00 a night extra. I can just about guarantee you'll make that back in the lack of a statewide sales tax. It won't bother me either way if it deters some people...we'll survive.Re: Traveling west now with firesThe Oregon coast has been clear, and tends to stay fairly clear. It really depends on the proximity to the fire, and wind patterns. Unfortunately given the conditions this year it could change on a dime...so who knows regarding SeptemberRe: New group of NewbiesIf there is a glut on used inventory then there won't be anything to support premium pricing. More new units will become available...and with demand down...prices go down. Dealers will have to support their manufactures with new inventory. I'll be looking for the opportunity to jump on a "gently" used Momentum G28.Re: 5th wheel toy haulersThere are plenty of 5th wheel toy haulers with 10+ foot garages...in fact probably all of them currently have nothing smaller than a 10 foot garage. You absolutely can go with an open floorplan also...but don't have to.Re: ***update*** Sold the toy hauler :(Wow...what will you do with all that room. Congrats...5th wheels have so much more space. I am sure the interior is a bit more plush than the old Stealth. It is very tempting to test the market right now. Dealers can't keep reasonable sized toy haulers in stock. Have fun...seeing new places.Re: How do I move weight forward? You may want to try backing the future SxS in rather than pulling front in first. I also will put a large Rubbermaid box full of firewood in the front of the trailer. I have a trailer rather than a 5th wheel so I have to be very aware of weight distribution.Re: has anyone seen one of these in person?Weekend Warrior has a long sordid history as a toy hauler manufacture. They owned the toy hauler segment at one time, but like many success stories they lost their way.Re: Ready 2 hit the road againWow that looks like quite a road-trip, and a great time. My family and I have visited all of these locations over the years, and have many wonderful memories. The longest we have spent on the road in the RV is 3 weeks...so I respect your undertaking. Crowds should be smaller in some of those places, which will be nice. Looking forward to the reports...have fun.Re: towing ability of the f-150 3.5LI used my 2014 3.5 Eco with Max-Tow to tow the trailer in my signature all over the Canadian Rockies with no problems.
