Wonder if we'll ever find out what actually went on.Re: Info on my travel trailer pleaseThat's pretty coolRe: Cummins 24 valve engineWell considering my 2001 dodge ram with the 24v HO cummins. 6spd manual 4x4 LB quad cab. was only $35,000 when new I'd say your mechanic is a bit off on his price for a new motor. Sorry can't offer any real help but it may be well worth your time to find another mechanic.Re: LED bulbs not stickingI had some that had double sides tabs with a red backing, that stuff didn't stick well at all. So I turned on all the lights to allow the tape to heat up and make it easier to remove. Then I used actual 3M double sided tape and have not had any of the panels come off and it's been over a year.Re: New Andersen WD hitch carringb wrote: atreis wrote: The ONLY advantage I can see to the Anderson over a Hensley or ProPride (that's bought and paid for) is weight. But really, if you needed/wanted a Hensley or PP enough to actually pay for one, switching to an Anderson seems ... unwise ... The Elastomer bushings will provide some spring damping which the VPP hitches do not provide. The Anderson also has a greater turn angle. I love the turn angle of the Andersen hitch makes parking the trailer so much easier.Re: New Andersen WD hitchThe insurance thing sounds like b.s. but yeah having the entire dealership interested int this new hitch is something I also went through lol. And I too feel it tows like a dream. Very smoothRe: New Andersen WD hitch logistic wrote: Hey, I used the andersen for 2100 mile trip last month and loved it. That said, I'm buying a 5th wheel now and am selling mine. have you looked at the andersen 5th wheel hitch? i know i'd get it if i were going to get a 5th wheel.Re: New Andersen WD hitchNo regrets at allRe: New Andersen WD hitchThe chains can be shortened to make up for thatRe: New Andersen WD hitch PHS79 wrote: Atlee wrote: Have you read, or has Andersen indicated how long the brake material around the shank will last? Will purchasers of the Andersen hitch be forced to buy a new Hitch X number of years from now, or will the hitch last for years and years? When I talked with Jason Green, a sales rep for Andersen, I asked him how long the brake material would last. He said that 50,000 miles of towing would have the same wear on the brake material as doing 2 stops from 60mph with your car or truck. He said that if it did every wear out, just contact them, return it and they would either replace the material or the whole mount. Also I asked what all was covered under the lifetime warranty, according to Jason--the ball, aluminium ball mount, the brake material, and the poly bushings all carry the lifetime warranty. Excellent info. Thank you
