Be sure to make your reservations well in advance, as the full hook-up sites have been filled up this winter. Rio Grande Village C.G. also has reservable sites in addition to first come first served. Forever Resorts is the park concessionaire and also runs the large C.G. and motel in Study Butte. Stillwell is a separate deal toward La Linda outside the park on the east side. When I first saw outdoor kitchens, I thought "why?, and how useless". Tuns out that what we bought has one - 2 burners and a sink - and we use it most of the time! As a former O/O trucker (30+ years), I have used BB a few times, but they are not nicknamed "Streaking Beacon" for nothing. They use some strong acid in the wash which does clean well, but eventually will etch the glass in windows - not to mention removing any polish/wax on the rest of the vehicle.1.8KViews0likes0CommentsTowing in the snow
This is my first post, so excuse my ignorance. Last winter we were pulling our 30' trailer out I10 in west Texas, and the bridges were frozen over or had slush on them. I kept feeling the trailer get "wormy" no matter how I approached a bridge. Light throttle, no throttle, never on the brakes - still wormy.
