Replaced it with a 2014 Suncruiser which we also love.Re: Do you use glass plates ?We carry Fiestaware glass dishes with a small piece of rubber shelf liner between each plate. For the most part we use paper plates, but like to have the “real” dishes for steaks. They’ve traveled almost 100,000 miles with us and haven’t had anything break yet.1000 Islands NY to Burlington VTWe will be driving next week from Wellesley Island State Park in the 1000 Islands region of NY to Burlington Vermont. Looking for advice from anyone who might have made this trip before. Google Maps route has us taking a ferry across Lake Champlain. Don't think we'll do that with a 35' motorhome!Re: Refrigerator is not switching to PropaneSometimes if it has been a while since running on propane, it will take a while for us. I just keep trying every few minutes and it eventually turn on.Re: Anyone interested in 83 Pace Arrow Tear down and Rebuild?I wasn’t surprised by the 160 number because I’ve watched you use the stuff on EVERYTHING! Ha!Re: Long Driving Days: Class A vs. TrailerWe have a gas Class A, tow a Jeep, and easily drive 500+ miles a day when necessary. We find it very comfortable and easy to drive. I think a lot of it has to do with your age, how big of a hurry you are in, and if you are true "road warriors." And how big your bladder is! Haha! If I know that I am going to be the first morning driver, I very intentionally limit my fluid intake until we hit the road. That way I can go 3-4 hours until I need to stop. Ann from KansasRe: Suggestions on New window shadesWe replaced with the cellular shades from Lowes. Several colors available and cut to fit while you wait.Re: Going South for the WinterTwo winters ago we spent one week each exploring 7 different spots in Florida. We hurried south late January to get to the warmth, then worked our way north. Some of our favorites were the Encore Miami Everglades park in Homestead. It is in an old avacado orchard! We spent a couple days driving the toad up through the Everglades, and a day in Miami. One of our weeks was spent at Highland Hammock State Park in Sebring. They have a great loop to ride bikes on, with raised walking trails through the swamp. Another favorite was Rock Crusher Canyon in Crystal River. Many things to do in the area, including seeing the manatees in the warm spring water, a day trip to Cedar Key and the Weeki Wachee Mermaids. You need to get reservations made ASAP. Have fun!Re: Been looking for months.....Help!I just read through all of the posts, planning to add my suggestion. We have a 35 foot 2014 Itasca Suncruiser that we love. I see that you found one! Congratulations! We are practically cousins! Ann from KansasRe: Airstream Land Yacht 39 Diesel or Winnebago VistaHuge difference between a 27' and a 39'! That would play a big part in the decision making process for me. Good luck!
