Stars 101 hope you get it fixed and be able to enjoy your camper. Check into having a spray on roof when it's time. It's like the Rhino lining type stuff that is sprayed in truck beds. Hi I have a 02 F250 4x4 4 door with the v10 also has the over load springs towing package put it beside a 350 can't tell much difference. You are on the right track having a meter will help you. One circuit at a time. Apparently you have circuits that are still active when the disconnect switch is thrown . check any relays ,contactors that are staying on. I fixed a simple circuit today in a motorhome. OK here is my 2Cents worth. If the TC fits your family and the truck feels OK with it on . get it. Check the roof for old caulking that needs to be addressed . After you take it out from under the pole shed you don't want it leaking on you. I have a Yamaha 1000I and it works well but not run the AC . Under the hood on drivers side is a fuse block under a plastic cover that is where a 30 amp fuse for the charging circut is. The manual will tell about it or the plastic lid will show the location of it. Also the engine has to be on before the relay will engage the charging circut . When I first bought my truck it wouldn't charge ,F250 it didn't charge the house battery after a little reading the manual I found the problem , no fuse . like other reply check the plugs and wires under the truck there is a couple of connections between the front to the back . if you have a meter or a simple light you can find the problem.417Views0likes0CommentsRe: Went on a one night test run with the "new to me" camper
Hey,welcome to the truck camper world!!! Something I did was to buy a small cermic heater from Walmart a couple of years ago. I have camped when it was in the teens and stayed warm .I also set the gas heat to come on if the electric heater can't keep up or loose power. When I had my other truck I had the air bags installed ,I kept about 50 pounds in them. This new to me truck that I have now does not need any mods to it. It does need a anti sway bar .
