I added 4 receptacles to our new rig but I just picked them up off of Amazon without really thinking and am having a bout of paranoia. I don't want to burn up our new rig because of crappy receptacles. I've looked but can't seem to find any that are UL Certified. Thanks!Make/Model Suggestions?Wife and I are casually looking for a new rig. Interested in switching from TT to 5W. Have found a couple that fit our particular bill, but neither of them are still made (2018 and 2019 were last years respectively). Thought maybe some of y'all who've seen more might have some ideas... -- Looking for max length of 35'. -- Need a bunk or a dedicated "space" for a kiddo or two (have a 3yr old daughter... she may want to bring a friend one day. bunks not required, but not interested in setting up and tearing down a hida-bed every day). --I'd really prefer the fridge to NOT be on a slide. --Would love to score a 1.5 bathroom... but it's not necessary. Any recommendations much appreciated!! (best one we can find that fits above bill so far is the Rockwood UL M-8301WS... but it was last made in 2018/19 so would have to track down a used one). Thanks!5th Weel vs. TT - Length Off Tow RigHi! We currently have a 29ft TT (tongue to tail). We're looling into trading up for a 5th wheel. Based on what we're looking for, it looks like 36-37ft is going to be our shortest possible length. I'm wondering what the length off the back of the rig is going to be with this size 5th wheel? At 29ft on the TT we're about maxed out for many of the locations we like to go camp so we need to make sure not to go any longer than what we currently have. Thanks for the info!!Great Tow Capacity - Bad Payload Capacity... Increase PL?So I have a 2016 Ram 2500 Megacab with the 6.7 Cummins. I love it. Great truck. It has plenty of tow capacity for us and our current trailer and possible future 5th Wheel upgrade at 16,936lbs. The problem is that the payload capacity is absolutely horrible at only 1637lbs!! We're looking to upgrade from our TT to a slightly larger (like 4 extra feet) 5th Wheel at some point, and after taking into account our family (people/pets) and what little cargo we carry in the truck, I'd need a pin weight of like 1000lbs to say within spec!! I checked... not gonna happen. That said, is there anything that can be done to increase the payload capacity? I can easily stay under the tow/trailer capacity, I just need to be able to increase the pin weight capacity. Like I said, I really like my truck. Would hate to have to up-size just to get a 5th wheel. Thanks!Carrier AirV Air Conditioner Specs?Bought a used (2009) R-Vision Trail-Sport (23') trailer with a Carrier Air V unit and I can't find any info on this air conditioner. I'm wanting to pick up a generator but want to know my needs first. Here's what I know: The part number is one of these two (it's listed differently on the manual vs the registration card): 71RC6A54340 or 71LC6A5431A It's 115V AC, 60Hz, 1 Phase That's all I know for sure. Can anyone help identify this unit and/or provide additional info like BTU rating and what not. Thanks!
