Hope that RV.net adds a Fuse category to the site. mccabin wrote: Hello and thanks for the add to RV.NET. We are looking to purchase a new 2017 WBGO Fuse 23T/diesel. We have traveled in other WBGO's but this will be our first purchase. Anyone out there own one - pro's, con's, issues, tips, helpful hints welcome! TIA! Re: Ordering from Winnebago Goldencrazy wrote: I just ordered a 2015. Will arrive in about 10 weeks. We found we could mix some of the colors and fabrics but for some combinations there was an extra charge and of course you have options for your coach and they will work with you if something is available in another coach and will fit. Often they will not fit. Things like towel bars and more outlets are installed locally. Enjoy your new coach. We traded for a Sightseer 35 G. Our 5th winnebago in 40 years. So you traded the Sunstar 30T already? ;-) skipoleRe: Tire pressure monitoring systems johnsonbert wrote: I would not leave home without it. We have used a TPMS for over 7 years and it has paid for itself several times over. One was a quick air loss on a toad tire as we were entering a town, got into a parking lot and it was on the rim as I walked back to look at it. No tire damage but certainly would have been out on the highway without a warning from the TPMS. We use the TST and a booster and have had good luck with the TST and great customer service from the dealer. Hope this may help. Happy Trails Bert X2 We also have a TST system. Have used TST on the last four motor homes. Passed them on when we upgraded and got new ones for the new rig. I have a cousin in CA who has probably had the worse tire luck of anyone I have ever heard of. She blew out at least two tires a year for four years on the same RV. (Most of them replaced because of factory defects and age.) A couple due to overloading. We took her to the Tire Monitor class at the 2011 Winnebago GNR and then set her up with a TST system. She hasn't had a tire problems since. I am not an employee of TST, just an extremely happy customer. skipoleRe: Question about going from Dish to Direct Bill.Satellite wrote: Forget about any comments related to one service or the other being your provider for life. That's just silly. If you want to change providers, change. There's no reason to stay if you can save a bundle of cash. If you hate the service you can move back in 2 years and register the account in your wife name and you will be a new subscriber. But that only works once. Unless you change your wife every two years too. :-) skipoleRe: Question about going from Dish to Direct camperforlife wrote: Bumpyroad wrote: remember that your sat provider is "for life" so immediate gratification is over and done with so don't be suckered in. the only reason I would consider going to direct would be to get the NFL stuff but certainly don't want to pay the extra money for that. bumpy I have found that the Sat provider is only for the 2 year contract not life. I'm not sure what kind of plan you are on. The only reason I'm considering Direct is because Dish will not compete with the Costco promo, they pretty much don't care about you once your contract is up. I'm not too concerned about customer service because going through Costco they will always back you up. $600 is pretty hard to ignore and I can always go back to Dish after the 2 years is up and get their new customer discounted price. Don't count on going back as a "new customer" after 2 years. Once in their system (DirecTv or Dish) you will never be a new customer again. (I speak from experience for what it's worth.) skipoleRe: Problem with Jack antennaSounds to me like the DirecTV SWM installation is interacting with the Jack. Try disconnecting the SWM and see if problem goes away. skipoleRe: What do you think of thid Dealer bargaining Goldencrazy wrote: skipole wrote: Golden, Try contacting Chisolm Trail RV in Albuquerque. Thought a bit more room might be nice and had some money burning a hole in my pocket so we looked around to see what was available and saw the 2013 but no deal there. The 33C has some drawbacks when slides are in it is very tight. RonDeb who had a 30W and traded for a 33C removed the couch and replaced with 2 recliners and that worked for them. They like their 33C very much so I thought I would give it look. Looks like we will willingly stay with this as it gives us everything we want. What are you running in your bags these days? By the way I had a leak in my rear bags valve stem coming to Florida and made most of the trip with no air in rear bags. It was not like having air but very doable. Fixed that and now loving the ride again. We stopped at Kelderman last year and they checked out the system for us. They recommend you set them by ride height and it ended up with 35#DF 40#PF and 60#Rear to get their recommended 7" height. They said rear can be anything you want to make ride comfortable but recommended the front settings the way the are for handling. Noticed a major improvement when set their way. Only slight differences in air pressure on the air bags on the Kelderman. We run 80# in the tires and run ¾ full water and empty gray/black. The addition of the Kelderman made the major change in ride handling. I now consider it my "front engine diesel pusher" as far as ride goes. To help handling I move a lot of my weight toward the front. We tow a 2009 Yaris (2200#) and it doesn't significantly change the handling. We live in Albuquerque if you want to stop when you are in the area and take a ride. skipole Thanks for the post. I am feeling much more confident in moving forward with these mods and appreciate the offer of the test drive. Did you run into any warranty related disputes with Winnebago? NO Winnebago problems to date. Last year at the Winnebago GNR I even recommended to Winnebago that they offer it as an option. Two of their engineers came by to look at it but no comments back so far. I've mod'd every RV i've owned. It appears that Winnebago warranties the box and refers you to the chassis mfgr for chassis stuff. At least in my experience. skipoleRe: Itasca Sunstar 30T or Winnebago Vista 30T OwnersI made almost the exact same mods as Goldencrazy to my Itasca 30T.
