The Chevy Express/GMC Savannah line is infamous for a random stalling problem. I found many online discussions about it the last time I was shopping for a used van.

We've always used portable chemical toilets. Odors have never been an issue. The tank is sealed well. We have a Thetford and a Dometic. (One in our trailer and the other in our van.) I prefer the Thetford manual flush over the Dometic pressure flush due to its quieter operation.

Yeah, a Travasack is really handy when there's not enough room to make the bed, because you can just kinda give it a big fluff/shake and smooth it out.

I used to work in a power systems specialty shop that was an authorized repair center for both brands. Let me tell ya, I'd pick an Onan every time! (And, yes, I may have heard the phrase "Gener-Wreck" being muttered angrily more than once.)
