It didn't stick anything on my computer, and unless I subscribe it doesn't have my email address. The only popup was the subscription request, which I clicked off. I use Chrome with Ad Block. This was posted in the "Beginning RVing" forum, so that seems appropriate too for the type of info on the blog. Also some nice photos too. I thought RVers were generally nicer people than what this thread has shown. Must be cabin fever setting in. :h I know right? It makes me feel bad for the new RV-er looking at this! Like, we swear people are nice guys! One big happy community :PRe: Tips for choosing and planning your campgrounds qtla9111 wrote: HappyCamperWives wrote: We've been living on the road for a few months now and after 30+ hours of planning our campgrounds, we thought we'd help you out with some tips that helped us and save you the hassle here! If others have more suggestions please share! Valerie + Jessi Great blog. I've been on it a couple of times in the last two weeks. Don't listen to the old farts on this forum. They'll p@#$ and moan about anything that might be new or great especially if they didn't come up with it. Others post just for sake of posting something so they can be in the 10,000 posts or more club. We need fresh young ideas. Keep going and don't let these negative comments get you down. BTW, the blog works great for me, not one pop up or other issue. Just fun reading. Carry on! You, my new best friend, are the greatest! We are only 30 so I guess we are more used to the idea of social media...aka sharing information on the web with each other. I'm so glad you like our blog and also like the information. Thanks a million and hope to pass each other on the road! -ValerieRe: Tips for choosing and planning your campgrounds Boon Docker wrote: Wow, must be a full moon tonight. haha. Love this! Thanks for a good laugh :)Re: Tips for choosing and planning your campgrounds ScottG wrote: Why would a newb come on here and profess to being able to give a bunch of obviously seasoned RV'ers "tips"? (Which are nothing new BTW) Oh I know why, to shamelessly advertise yet another blog. hahaha now you all have us laughing out loud! This is in the beginners section- for newbies!Re: Tips for choosing and planning your campgrounds accsys wrote: HappyCamperWives wrote: TheLuvShack wrote: This post is nothing but blatant advertising to get us to sign up for their blog. Your site appears to be heavily into advertising (which causes us to chew up more data when using your site) which earns you money. I pay $100/year to keep advertising off our blog! haha omgggg you guyssss!!!!! We have made .62 from our blog...,the whole blog. We don't have a single ad, not one. True story. You're all acting silly right now. We share because we care. We're all family right? Now stop acting silly and SIGN UP FOR OUR BLOG RIGHT NOW OR ELSE. Kidding.Re: Food & TravelingWe have a very small fridge and we can fit 10-15 bags of groceries no problem! We keep fruit on the counter and oatmeal and stuff in the cabinets. Sure, we stack a lot of food on top of itself in the fridge but it feeds two people all week!Re: Tips for choosing and planning your campgrounds Here's an article that offers a wealth of info: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/06/29/travel/escapes/29island.html NYS has amazing camping opportunities :c. Thank you! We will def have to check this out. We love all forms of camping, this is the first time hearing :)Re: Tips for choosing and planning your campgrounds TheLuvShack wrote: This post is nothing but blatant advertising to get us to sign up for their blog. I find that using organisational skills are the answer to many questions and the winter is good for that in the NE. Boat camping? What! How do we sign up? That sounds amazing. Good luck!Re: Tips for choosing and planning your campgrounds korbe wrote: HappyCamperWives wrote: korbe wrote: Just love the websites that put a pop up right in the middle of the screen without any way of closing it. haha- sarcasm much? Sorry about that, not sure why that happened...not suppose to do that but I'll check it out :) should be a little "x" to get out of it. ALSO, once you close it should never pop up again :/ Yes. Once the pop up leaves, I will be able to read and see what your talking about. Strange...You don't see an "x"? I checked on it, but seems to be working fine Are you on mobile? Chrome? Firefox? Want to see if I can fix it!
