We have a Park Model, it has slides, an RV plug in and holding tanks. There are also Park Models that have a peaked roof and require a separate electric install, direct connect to sewer, not sure about slides. We bought our Keystone Retreat because it is what we found close to us. It is parked next to our house for MIL to live in. Where we leave we can do this. I didn't want to go the separate utility route. We are happy with it. I would have liked to see more variety but down here they aren't easily found.863Views0likes0CommentsRe: Park Model Questions
I have consulted with a realtor friend about this and it is allowable. There are others all over my Parish (county). Yes, qtla9111, my questions have basically been answered. I'm open to all input. Because it is considered an RV, I can park it next to my house legally. Loose zoning regulations work in my favor this time. This one has holding tanks. I do have sewer in place but due to the 1/4" drop rule, the input is 24" off the ground. The RV output is 14" off the ground, hence the macerator. We are considering putting a Park Model next to our mobile home for MIL to live in. I have electric in place. I will probably have to use a macerator to empty tanks. Any guidance?
