I've spoken to a dealer who tells me $21K out the door is his rock bottom price. That's about 80% of the invoice pricing...seems like I've read on here most folks getting at least 30% off invoice. That extra 10% might just make the difference. Been looking at this model here in South LA as well - best price I have seen was 21,800 - dealer also said "rock bottom price."Re: Zen and the Art of Trailer Maintenance Jack_Diane_Freedom wrote: Check all of your plumbing connections and hand tighten. I found several loose upon delivery of the new TT and each year I check them a couple of times. Definitely! I just spent a week at Ft. Wilderness at Disney and chased leaks almost the entire time. Most of them were simply loose connections that needed some tightening. I did have to change out a flush valve on the toilet though. (Camping world not far from Disney thankfully). Camper gave me 0 issues through 2 years and now there are little things creeping up everywhere. I will definitely be more diligent as far as maintenance as well.Re: Safe to Walk on an Apex Roof?I've walked / crawled on the roof of the Apex below in my signature picture. I had a cracked vent cover and pulled it off and changed it out and then took a look at everything else while I was up there. Honestly - I never thought about a weight limit. I'm 6-1; 225.Re: I wanna campI feel for you guys - I really do. We camp year round here in South Louisiana and I've only ran my heater twice. Actually Winter and early Spring are some of the best times to camp in my opinion.Re: Christmas wish list1. New Outdoor Mat 2. Weber Q Grill 3. Keurig One Cup Coffee Maker 4. New set of Bowls and pans 5. Lounge Chair for easier napping 6. New LSU flag for tailgating.Re: Apex or Freedom ExpressI have a 2011 Apex 26BHS - no issues to date. The newer ones have better floor plans I think - looks like you are not interested in the bunks. My dry weight is less than 5K lbs and it tows like a dream with my F-150. I would recommend the Apex brand and would purchase another. As for the right time to shop - I just browsed rvtrader.com and found a great price that was worth me driving 2 states over to pick it up.Re: Okay...someone tell me I'm not weird!!Guilty on all counts - I do every last one of those things.Re: ~Post your campsite photos here~The stately oaks of Fountainebleau State Park in Mandeville, LA. Re: What Did You Do For Your Travel Trailer Recently?Installed a Barker 3500 tongue jack. What took me so long?Re: What Did You Do For Your Travel Trailer Recently?Bought a Barker VIP 3500 electric jack. Can't wait to get it installed. ***Bought it from RV Adventure - saw some questional comments in a thread about them - quick delivery, all parts are in the box and it was in good shape upon delivery for those wondering about them. Definitely the cheapest price***
