artie2908, that's the exact info I was looking for. With 10k more for a diesel and diesel being $.30 more a gallon I'm starting to think like you... just not worth it. My trailer tips the scale just under 10k pounds. so my tow mileage might not be as good as yours. Donna, I use the book with the computer to get info on parks. I also try to read the reviews on the park I'm interested in because in some parks not all campsites have FHU and the folks that stay there before me know which are which. I'm sure its been talked about in the past, but I can't find it. I have Good Year tires on my p/u with only 30k miles and lots of tread left, but they are original tires. The sidewalls are clean no cracks or scuffs. Can they last longer or do I need to replace them. I replaced the tires on the TT every 5 years, the last time I used GY endurance. Wow, the dealers in my area have the lowest inventory I have ever seen, and I'm a retired car hauler. I know there is a problem with chips, but right now each dealer may have only 1 or 2 3/4 ton or 1 ton trucks in stock. The bulk of the dealers lot is empty. check out the Jayco Eagle HT 274CKDS. I have been looking at that one, but not happy with most of the 21 foot awning being taken up with the curb side slide out. you could order tires online from tire rack, have the sent to your house and, like the others have said, take 2 off and have them mounted and balanced. and then the other 2. i got my gy endurance at a truck tire place that also services cars. they had plenty of room.322Views0likes0Comments
