I bet some of you wear belts with your suspenders.Re: Thinking about a Class C MotorhomeIn that price range I would also consider a used Class from Cruise America.Re: floorplan with jackknife sofa and queen bedLook for the 28A floorplan from Four Winds, Chateau or Dutchmen. Coachmen had a 28QB with the same floorplan and I also remember a Forest River model too. You can also look at the used units from Cruise America that use the same floorplan.Re: Approx Maint Costs For Used 28' Class C After Purchase? If I remember correctly, the rentals sold by Cruise America generally don't come with an awning, rear ladder or TV unless you negotiate for those items at purchase. You may want to budget some for those if you want them.Re: Coping with Road BugsI've used "Awesome" from the Dollar Tree or Dollar General and the stuff truly lives up to its name when it comes to removing bugs. http://www.dollartree.com/20-oz-Totally-Awesome-Cleaner/p8056/index.proRe: Thor Axis drivability Ductape Dave wrote: ...more area to get stoned. So that's a plus. ;)Re: Chevrolet NavigationI have the factory NAV system in my Dodge and I find it easier to use than my phone or my wife's portable Garmin. The turn-by-turn directions show up on the instrumnet panel right under the speedometer which make is easy to see at a glance and the volume on the radio automatically turns itself down when the nice navigation lady is giving me directions. Plus there is no need for additional cords or mounting hardware and no fear of it being stolen or lost when not in use.
