We used water softener and laundry detergent in our black water tank to keep things from sticking. It worked well! PixieRe: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}Have you tried People Search. You'd have to know his middle initial and approximate age, I would think, but you might be able to find him that way. How about his wife's name?Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}Wanderlost, you made me laugh out loud. Thanks!Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}Richard, Sue is in my prayers and you and the fur gang, as well. I know everyone is missing Mom and wanting her home.Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}Thanks, Richard...brought back good memories.Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}Gary, I am sorry about your skunk problems but they are highly entertaining for the rest of us who are too away to smell your successes or your failures.Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}My husband made a platform on my side of the bed in our TT so our old cat and I could more easily get into the bed. I'm short, not so slim and getting older by the minute! Ha! The cat weighed 27 pounds at one time due to a colon condition. I sure do miss those days.Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}Richard, you need some Yaks Traks to put on your shoes. Works great for the "walker" - don't think they make them for the "walkees".Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}Those of us raised in the Great Northwest may remember Stan Boreson and his Basset Hounds Tallulah and NoMoShun; Sheriff Tex; Wunda Wunda and Captain Puget! Richard, I'm wishing you a speedy recovery, my friend.Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}Hello Gary, I adopted a little cockapoo about a month ago. She and my Honeybun get along most of the time but there are still conflicts whenever Honeybun perceives Ruthianne to be in her "territory", i.e. her spot on the bed. There have been three incidents where I had to stop the conflict, but it didn't look like there was any serious biting going on. I remember how big Dash is from our meeting at the first Old Fella Rally in Branson and how sweet Lily is. Do you think Molly and Dash will come to appreciate one another? I was hopeful that Honeybun and Ruthianne would become bossum buddies, but I'm not so sure that is realistic.
