Mine bolted to inserts imbedded in the bottom of the camper, and the inserts were pulled loose upon removal. Which is fine if you never intend to reinstall the skirts. Enjoy, I loved my 815, much better quality than my new Host.Re: How to rotate dually tiresI have gone one step further. I rotate my spare into the mix with my inner dual wheels since it has the matching steel rim. I hate that the spare sits there and never gets wear on it except in emergencies. I just dealt with the tire pressure sensor being "off" when the spare got rotated into the mix. I recently purchased an inner tire pressure sensor to be installed onto the spare tire rim and was told the system will "learn" the sensor once it gets spinning. We will see. It can also be programmed at the dealer for a few bucks I'm told. So I rotate outer aluminum wheels clockwise, and inner steel wheels clockwise including the spare. Picture a triangle with the spare as the top point.Re: HOST Yukon Dump Valve LocationI have a Host Cascade, and with the camper on the truck, the dump valve is at eye level. It's a S***y place for it, but since the tank is mounted in the slide under the dinette, there aren't any options. If the Yukon is like my Cascade, it has a very wide flat tank and doesn't drain very fast or very thoroughly. Takes a good 15 minutes flushing the tank to get somewhat clear water.Re: Truck techI do have to turn off my parking sensors especially rear or they beep a lot. The rear camera option is actually useful if you do what I did. Which was, buy a replacement tailgate camera…OEM or aftermarket, and an aftermarket mounting bracket which I attached high power magnets to. When I take my tailgate off, I plug the external cam into the factory connection and attach it via magnets above the rear bumper. When I load my camper, I left enough wire to run the cam to the back of the camper attached to a steel plate I mounted to the back of the camper. It plays perfectly through the dash screen, and even the surround feature gives a decent view provided you remember things are longer than they appear. I can look up the parts I purchased for this if you are interested and PM them to youRe: Manual crank to electric jack conversion ? Lance 815I did the mod on my previous 2004 Lance 815. The Reico Titans worked like a champ. Mine however was not pre-wired so I had to do that myself and was able to keep everything concealed within the campers structure. So, I can't help you with pics in that department. I just mounted my controller low on the wall that forms the bathroom just inside the entry door. My controller had a positive and a ground wire going in, generally a heavy gage wire, and then 4 sets of +/- coming out to each jack. So I would assume if it's prewired, you should have that similar configuration dangling in that location. Hope any of that helps. I loved that little Lance.Re: Dometic DM2882 intermittent shutdown issueThanks Old-B. I'm taking it out soon, so I will try and look for pawer at some of those connections whenever it shuts itself off.Re: Dometic DM2882 intermittent shutdown issueThanks Doug. I did take it to an authorized repair facility near me, but they couldn't duplicate it after 4 or 5 days. But as I said, it was December and perhaps the Texas heat when I was running it plays a part. Not really sure about that. Do you run a service center?Dometic DM2882 intermittent shutdown issueMy 2020 Host Cascade has the Dometic DM2882. Usually works great and keeps things very cold. Only problem is, it will be running fine, sometimes for a day or two, or sometimes for only a few to several hours. Open the fridge door, and no interior light. Check the indicator panel and it is off. Cycle the switch off then back on, and it will start right up and run a few hours, or a day. No real timeframe. It is under warranty and I took it to a certified repair facility. They ran it for 3 or 4 days and could not duplicate the problem. They however ran it during cooler months not during Texas summer. Not sure if that had any effects. Contacted Dometic, they are no help. The dealer I bought it from is in Arizona, not driving there from Dallas for warranty work. Anyone have this issue before or any good troubleshooting advice. I'm an aircraft mechanic, so I have the abilities just need pointed in the right direction. Any info will be greatly appreciated.Re: Ordered Host cascade todayI love my Cascade. You will too
