Great combo - quiet, runs > 24 hours running A/C and everything else. Can't run both ACs, but runs my main unit with no problem. Love the ease of moving around these lightweight units and the flexibility you get from having 2 smaller units. Very pleased with this setup.Re: Opinion needed if you've owned a TT and a FWWe have a 32' TT and a 41' FW. Prefer the FW for towing and hooking up. Going down the road the FW is zero drama -- hassle-free as can be. I have a ProPride 3P on the TT and it rides well, too - no complaints there, but the FW definitely tows better. TT was initially easier to backup, until I learned The Ways Of The 5er. Now it's a wash between the two.Re: Considering pop-up. Where do I start my research?I agree with everything RoyB says above, that's a great summary. Highly recommend Popup explorer -- great resource for all things Popup. Linky Loved our Popup. On a nice spring day with everything open nothing quite like that connection to nature. Mama wanted more creature comforts, and I didn't want the hassles of finding another mama, so....no more Popup ;)Re: Tom Sawyer RV Park on the MississippiWe love that place as well. Very enjoyable campground.Re: Made the first leapCan't comment on the Landmarks, as we have a Heartland Gateway, but I would comment that we've had excellent experience dealing with Heartland. They are very responsive and professional to work with. We had a number of issues with our unit, but all was made well under warrantee and we are quite satisfied with the end results. We love our Heartland. Also, I'll throw in another recommendation for B&W hitches.Re: Bridged EU2000s: how long on a tank of fuel?Update after receiving the BERGS extended dual feed tank. Love this system and I was able to get similar results to ford truck guy in the 24+ hour range with a fair bit of AC usage. Well pleased. Super handy filling the single tank too. Nice to not sweat running out of fuel at 3am. Also like the quality of the BERGS parts.Re: Fifth Wheel or TTIf it's jerky in stop-and-go traffic that could as simple as a brake controller adjustment. With a decent hitch properly setup you shouldn't have much drama with a TT. That said, my 5th wheel does tow much better than my TT, but I wouldn't describe my TT as jerky by any stretch. Might dig in a bit deeper on tweaking your TT setup before throwing in the towel and getting a 5th wheel (and the inevitable truck upgrade as well)Re: 2012 F250 6.7 opinionsMe personally, I'd look around for something with a few less miles. These things have some seriously complicated fuel and exhaust systems that would be pretty pricey to repair/maintain out of pocket. Other than that, and a rather picky fuel system (hates any sort of moisture in the fuel system!) the 6.7 is pretty solid.Re: Surge Guards, to buy or not to buy+1 on the PI. It's worth the peace of mind to me.Re: I need a new grillIf your going charcoal, we love our weber smokey joe jumbo Link here
