Repair suggestions? It seems most of the penetrations and cap are Enernabond from the factory. Only sealant used is on perimeter. Can/should I put Dicor 501LSW on top of eternabond or remove EB first. Also it seems EB is getting "puffy" in other areas. Comments and suggestion appreciated. thanksWould you get new tires ?This will be my 8th year riding with my stock Michelin, LTX AT2 tires. Super ride and handling on my 2016 K3500 CC SRW truck with my Lance 650 TC. Full wet payload 3500 lbs. Tires “look “ great with only 30,0000 miles on them. So the question is do I obey the rule of 6 yrs old and replace these tires? I know there are many things that you cannot see in a tire… Would any of you trust a tire inspection ? Thanks for any advice.Honda 2200i oil leak during transportI have a newer Honda 2200i generator with very few hours and store it in an aluminum generator box off my rear bumper. The unit has been riding with me for 3 years and never had a problem. Last weekend I opened the box to get my generator and there was oil in the bottom… Looks like the leak occurred during transport. Anyone with ideas how old oil came out of the unit or anyone have a similar issue. The fill plug was still tight and it looks like I lost about a cup of oil. Thanks Thanks for the replies…Follow up… I do not store extra oil in a compartment . Also I am surprised by the amount of oil they had leaked and that it did not affect the oil level in the generator… Oil level was checked meticulously at the previous oil change. Air filter was checked and there is no unusual amount of oil on it.Re: Shaving new Tire for subaru AWDThis also happened to me on my 2014 Subaru cross trek. The tires had 22,000 miles on them so I just replaced the set. But I did learn there is quite a market on craigslist of people selling used sets of 3 tires, from Subarus ....such as the Yokahamas . If the remaining 3 have got some life....shop for a used tire.Re: Tow vehicleToo much... I had a 2006 suburban that I have since traded...5.3 with 4.10 rear end. We towed the trailer in my signature. I figure the trailer plus the tongue weight and truck payload I was around 6500 pounds. I would not want to go any higher. It handled it OK and that was enough power but rear end was maxed out.Re: New tow rig!Congrats! Enjoy your new ride. I looked all summer and almost pulled the trigger on a Ram 3500 CC 6.2, beautiful trucks.......but in the end brand loyalty got to me. I ended up with a 2016 Silverado 3500.Re: Suspicions confirmed: the Lance 650 is a hitI have been studying this unit .......seems to fit the bill for my first TC....We like the headroom in the sleeping area and the dinette length . Hope to order one soon.Re: Lance 650 in a 6ft 6 inch boxThanks I will try Lance owners website. It's hard to believe that two years into production and no one owns this camper-truck combo on the forum.Re: Lance 650 in a 6ft 6 inch boxThe previous thread is why am asking the question. My Lance dealer said there would be no issues with this truck camper in the 6'6" box. I have no intentions of putting the camper up on mats. Or building supports for it. Will this camper fit in the box or does it need to be pushed to the rear. If it does have to be mounted to the rear how is the ride quality? Someone has to own this combo....please help .Lance 650 in a 6ft 6 inch boxHow does it fit? Interested in this unit for my Siverado Crew Cab short box 6'6". Will the unit be up against the front of the box and still clear the black and grey clean outs on the rear. Or will I have to shift the unit back on my truck to clear the plumbing?
