The water heater was perhaps me just being stupid. Since the fridge wasn't working on AC, i thought i'd try the electric side of the water heater, though i never, ever use it on electric. So i flipped the toggle on the WH to on and then turned on the switch inside the camper too. I suspect the inside switch is propane only. I'm going to investigate that more. The fridge appears to be working now. I have a feeling perhaps something is trying to give out on it and i just fiddled with it enough that it started working. Maybe the "gas" button on the control panel is about to give out, since the fridge was pretty convinced it should be working on propane. Anyway, i may be back with more questions but that's where i am now. Thanks everyone, this is a great resource!Re: Fridge and Water heater work on gas only?Yes, i agree the clicking is confusing. Both are set to electric, not gas (auto on the fridge, button for electric engaged on water heater). Both are clicking, the ignitors trying to light a pilot light, as if they were running on gas. I've checked all the fuses. If it was just one appliance, it would be less confusing i think. Is there something that tells the 2 appliances together to switch over to AC? The camper is definitely getting AC.Re: Fridge and Water heater work on gas only?Yes, propane works fine, cooktop and all.Re: Fridge and Water heater work on gas only?Yes, i know. Any idea what would keep them from switching over? I read about some "eyebrow" thingie in relation to the fridge, but this is *both* appliances.Fridge and Water heater work on gas only?Hi - I'm getting my TT ready for the weekend and plugged up the power as usual to get the fridge cold, and the fridge will not work. I hear it trying to, but it won't go. So i thought i'd try the water heater on the electric setting rather than gas, and it won't work either. I can hear them both clicking but they won't start up. I know i have power to the TT - the microwave display is on, etc. Fuses look okay, and i've flipped the main power off and on a couple of times. What am i missing? Thanks in advance!Re: Slide problemI thought i'd update - turns out it was a wiring issue. Found it under the camper when we looked harder. Thanks all!Wilkes-Barre PA to Lexington KYSuggested routes? Thanks!Re: Slide problemOkay, i'll check the batteries but they were new last year. They should still be good. If the batteries were weak, wouldn't the slide motor drag rather than just not engage at all?Re: Slide problemYes, plugged in. I don't know the type and brand of slide. I'm not even sure how to find that out?Slide problemHi - I'm looking for suggestions on things to try to fix my slideout before driving it 2 hours to a dealer. When i winterized last fall, everything was fine. When i tried to put my slide out this spring, i got no reaction at all when i pushed the switch. No noise, nothing. I ordered a new switch and tried that but it's no help. The fuses in the box all look fine. Is there another fuse somewhere that i might be missing? Lights, etc. are all working ok on battery power. It seems odd to me that the motor would go kaput without ever acting up, so i'm just looking for other ideas. Thanks for any thoughts on it!
