We have Holbrook Koa then Trailer Village Grand Canyon them onto Lake Powell Waheap campground next will be Zion when available then I have Ruby’s booked for Bryce then onto Moab Canyonlands campground.Re: Grand Canyon and Utah 2019We were planning on staying in Holbrook at the KOA to see the Petrified forest.Re: Grand Canyon and Utah 2019Thanks for everyone's comments we understand it will be hot when you have two kids you can only travel in the summer time so you travel when you can if you want to see anything. And we always leave at midnight the kids sleep all night this is how you can get more hours on the road. We take turns driving so this helps. We plan on trying to get some water time in like some of you have suggested. Lake Powell the narrows at Zion a pool at Bryce and in Moab we might try rafting. We are a family of 4- 2 kids ages 13 and 16 traveling from Missouri to Grand Canyon. We have a two full weeks just want to throw out what I have so far see if anyone thinks I need to make a few changes. Leave Friday night at Midnight stop at Petrified Forest for the first night. Then on to trailer village Grand Canyon for three nights. Leave on July 3rd head to Lake Powell for two nights to catch the fireworks on the 4th staying in Wahweap campground. Then on to Zion for 3 nights hopefully staying in Watchman campground.. Then on to Bryce staying at Rubys Inn RV Park for 2 nights. Then on to Moab for 3 nights staying maybe at Moab Valley Rv looking for recommendations for Moab. Wanting to visit Arches, Canyonlands and Dead Horse. Anyone with any changes or recommendations and things to do would be great.Re: Grand Canyon and UtahThanks for everyone's advice. Yes this might seem like a lot to see in two weeks. We want to see as much as we can we might not get out this way with the kids again. Did Yellowstone and the Tetons and North Dakota last year and Colorado the year before. We have two kids 16 and 13. Trying to figure out where to go first thinking of starting at Grand Canyon then traveling to Zion, Bryce, Canyonlands and Arches. Trying to figure out how many nights for each stop thinking of Trailer Village at Grand Canyon. We will have two full weeks to travel. On our way home we might also stop at Black Canyon of the Gunnison in Colorado and also at Silverton and Durango to do the train ride.. Any help would be much appreciated trying to figure out our first stop either petrified forest or Albuquerque New Mexico. We like to hike, kayak, fish, and also horseback riding if you all have any tips.Re: North Shore Minnesota end of JulyThanks for all of your alla help we have Jay Cooke booked for one night Lamb resort booked for four nights. Now trying to get two more nights maybe at Gooseberry or Burlington bay. Looking into booking a fishing charter in the area if anyone has any ideas.
