What I do is store everything I'm taking on the trip in the garage of my trailer. Only thing in the truck is passengers and their ipads or whatever they need to make the trip comfortably. I would rather the truck pull more weight then be weighed down if that makes sense.Re: 10 Foot garage on Toy Hauler Stude55Dog wrote: I am looking at getting a toy hauler but am not sure a 10 foot garage area will hold a Polaris SXS Model 900s. Anyone have any experience with this SXS in a 10 foot setup? Thanks It will fit just fine I have a KZ MXT 301 with a 10' garage and my Can-Am Maverick fits. The 900s Rzr is a tiny machine so you shouldn't have any problemsRe: Weight causing tires to rub inside of trailerBy the time I got done it was getting dark so didn't snap any pics. Next week when I bring it home to gear up for our trip I'll get under it and snap a few. My welds are ugly lol but I got good penetration in the cracks so that's all that matters. The mor/Ryde cross members are pretty trick and I think are gonna work great. I bought 3 but could only use 2 so I have one for sale if anybody is interested in giving them a try. I have several go pro cameras and several different mounts so maybe I'll see about mounting one under the trailer before our trip and see if I can record any movementRe: Twisted Frame Failures Travel TrailersI spent all day this past Sunday welding up cracks, installing new cross members and welding in bracing. I haven't had the problems you're having but I was having frame issues. From all the research I've done it's actually quite commonRe: Weight causing tires to rub inside of trailerWell I got the new 2900# leaf springs in. I also installed Mor/Ryde cross members on the front and middle hangers. I couldn't fit one across the back hangers because my black/grey water plumbing was in the way. So I welded in some flat bar on the outside of the ibeams and connected it to the flanges (as seen on here. I found 2 more cracks, one on each side above the rear hangers. These were bad you could actually see through them so I laid a bead over those. I worked on this thing for 7 hours and it beat the hell out of me but all in all I feel good about the repairs I did. I loaded up my sxs and with the new springs she doesn't sit near as low as she did before. With the new cross members and bracing the wheels should stay in line. I didn't notice any flexing during sharp turns or backing it in to its storage spot like I did before. We have a trip planned for next week and I feel good about it. When I get back from that I plan to add a few more pieces of flat bar for bracing and double check the cracks and then I'll be done with it officially. Thanks again for all the help on here guys.Re: trailer tiresMy trailer calls for ST tires so that's what I useRe: Need help with 2008 KZ MXT 188I have a mxt 301 and my system is the same except all my valves and what not are under the bedRe: What did you do to your Toy Hauler today???Installed new 2900# leaf springs, Mor/Ryde X factor cross members, welded up some cracks in the frame and welded in some flat bar for bracing. It's been a long day and I'm beatRe: EAZ Lift weight distributionI have the Eaz-lift and it works great. I use one sway control with it and it does its job.Re: Tires; revisited; yet againMy trailer calls for ST tires so that's what I use
