We have a 2015 Cougar Xlite SGS and love the layout also, only minor repairs so far, the furniture quality is great, rocking lazy boy chairs are really comfortable, love the cheater doors in the bathroom, tows really good even with a 1/2 ton truck. the awning is very high but we wanted electric, the bed is comfortable and we love the dark brown color scheme. I changed the carpet in a 36ft Motorhome, I took the couch out, stripped all the old carpet out, bought the carpet and then hired a carpet installer on the side to install it, he charged me $200 and it looked great. I left the carpet in the cupboards and under the bed but he did all around the bed.249Views0likes0CommentsRe: 2 fluorescent lights in LR not working
The fuses are sometimes hard to see if they are blown, try changing them around,or test them for continuity by turning your meter to ohms, is there any other 12V things not working? You may have to keep tracing the wire that goes to the lights back to where you have power. Which I know is hard, maybe you can tie the wire into a 12V wire (source) behind the microwave.515Views0likes0CommentsRe: 5th Wheel vs Class C
I think if you are a snowbird and stay for long periods of time the bigger the better, we have had them all Class A, Class C and a 5th wheel, they all have their props, if I was staying south for a period of time I would prefer a 5th wheel or a Class A, the more room the better for me. You can pickup a used 5th wheel for a good price these days with 3 or 4 slides.282Views0likes0Comments
