I don't use the quick connect because I would have to purchase a special BBQ for around $300.00 that would work with this system. Keystone didn't bother to point that out when we purchased our rig new.Re: Travel plans to visit National ParksThanks we have the pass in our 70's. Looking for recommendations on what to avoid. Thanks again. Our first extended trip the last 50 trips were less than two hours from homeTravel plans to visit National ParksHi I am not sure if this is the correct forum to ask these questions. We are planning a 16 stop National Park tour starting in Southern California. The stops include Las Vegas NV, Zion NP, Bryce Canyon NP, Capital Reef NP, Arches NP, Rocky MTN NP, Mt Rushmore to Grand Tetons, Yellowstone NP, Coeur D Alene, to MT Rainer, Crater Lake to Redwood NP back to Southern Ca. When I tried to use the GS trip planner I kept getting messages that the route could not be calculated. I could not see how to save and print the information. When I select print only blank pages printed. So my good friends if you have recommendations on places to stay with our 5th wheel or routes to avoid I am all ears. Admin if I am in the wrong forum send me in the right direction. Thnaks in Advance.Travel plans to visit National ParksThis topic has been moved to another forum. The graphics have pealed...the water pump sounds like a thrashing machine from day 1( normal to dealer) the front landing gear teeth snapped (blamed it on me) the electronic control panel shorted for no reason that was a $1000.00 bill. The tires they put on the new unit were two years old when delivered to us. 10,000 miles in four years new tires $900.00. We have been on 42 trips so it gets plenty of use. One issue that bugs me is that on the show room model none of the cords or wall plugs are exposed behind the TV but on our rig the plugs are not hidden. I was too excited when getting the rig to notice. The galley gray tank valve is under the rig behind a wheel and a pain to get under and open at the dump site. The fancy gas connection for the BBQ is after the regulator you need a special BBQ to use that connection. Good luck what ever you decide on and happy camping.Re: Open ranger roam 337 vs keystone cougarDon't buy the Cougar...I have a 2010 276rls and a stack of repairs bills not covered by the warranty. The tires on the rig were two years old when we bought it new. The list of issues goes on and on.Re: rubber roof membrane damageI did the same thing with my Keystone Cougar...go to any camping world or rv store they make a patch kit with a sticky back... cut out the size patch you want clean the surface and it will stick on just fine. My patch has held over 3 years without issues.Re: Keystone Cougar Warranty DENIAL!We have a 2010 276RLS that we have paid big for repairs. Wait until your electronic control fails. Our water pump sounds like a thrashing machine from day one. NORMAL OPERATING SOUND PER KEYSTONE. I would not recommend them nor will I ever purchase from them again.Re: RV storageI live in Temecula CA. we store our 28ft 5th wheel at TEMECULA VALLEY RV it is a valet storage. We drop the rig at the gate they park it. When we are ready to go on a trip we just call and they bring it out for us. They will also fill the propane or check the air in the tires (for a fee) Our monthly charge is $120.00Re: Level fifthI bought a rail road tie (sp) from the local lumber yard and cut it into two foot widths with my chain saw. They are very sturdy.
