But I am never surprised by what some will do and that reflects on all of us that camp.Re: 2 week vacation next June! Space issueI looked up the spec on an Embrace EL310 TT If that is what you have you should have no trouble with sleeping 6 people. Their web site says it will sleep 10 & with 1 king, 2 bunks & 3 sofa beds you should be able to sleep 6 ok. As for comfort the fume pads on the sofas should help. The only problem that I see with your planed 2 week trip is with all the places you are planning to go you might be traveling more than camping. Yellowstone & Estes Park/rocky mountain NP either one could easily take a week & still not see every thing. Hope that you have a great trip RVing is a great way to see the parksRe: Anyone installed a generator in front of 5th wheel?I just carry my Honda locked to my toolbox in front of the 5th wheel hitch in my truck. Going down the road I run the gen to keep my small freezer cold. When in camp I lock it to the trailer & just plug my shore cable into the gen works great for me.Re: Canadian American RV Culture DifferenceWe are from Texas we spent 4 weeks traveling though western Canada in 2005 on our way to and from Alaska. We were pulling our 5th wheel and stopped at many Parks & campgrounds, enjoyed the beautiful country and friendly people would love to get the change to do it all again. We got a laugh when we saw the signs on cattle guards labeling then Texas Gates.Re: Power ConvertersThanks for all the info I re checked all fusses nuts etz for tightness, plugged in tow truck interior lights worked with shore power disconnected, unplugged truck and interior lights now work on trailer batteries????Re: Power ConvertersA little more info the Converter Charger is made by PPC Parallax Power Components series # 7300 & model # 7355 I have tried to add photos----guess I don't know how to add the photos Power ConvertersI have a 2003 30ft Sierra 5th wheel by Forest River When I am plugged into shore power My 12 volt lights inside will work but when I do not have shore power they will not work. The battery's are new and fully charged, the 12 volt landing jacks and slide outs work ok but the lights inside will not, all fuses are good also I have to use a battery charger to recharge the battery's. Has anyone compiled a list of those companies, contact info, what they provide, etc? For those who are working gates now and have motor homes, how do you keep your propane tank filled? Our routine @ Wal-Mart is to park our Rv go into the store find the Night Manager ask if we can park for the night He of She will tell us where they want us to park its always better to ask & to buy supplys while in the store. If the store has McD's we will eat breakfast there the next morning & remember not to leave a mess & no getting out the BBQ or lawn chairs
