But I did buy the extended warranty through June 2017 just in case.Re: New RV How to protect decals? ford truck guy wrote: If keeping them out of the sun is not an option... try Aerospace 303 - Aerospace 303 spray on and wipe... said to protect from UV rays Great product. I swear by the stuff. I buy it by the gallon and use a half gallon pump "garden" sprayer to apply it. Re: SRW Truck Max length 5th WheelI have a SRW Ram 2500 Megacab. I love the extra cab room but I gave up quite a bit of rear wheel capacity. The issue is with trailer pin weight, not length. The "3/4 ton" truck just doesn't have enough rear wheel payload capacity for most of the longer trailers due to the extra pin weight they have. I really wish I would have got a DRW 3500 just for a little more rear wheel capacity. Not so much for a bigger trailer but for an extra diesel fuel tank in the truck bed. 30 to 40 gallons of extra fuel would sure help. Right now I need to stop between 300 and 400 miles for fuel with the 36 gallon stock tank. I'd like to have enough for 8 hours on the road without fueling. Not that I wouldn't still stop. I just wouldn't have to find a gas station that would fit my rig.Re: Your Rig ford truck guy wrote: That is one nice looking KZ !! I see they are still making them nose high ! I need to adjust the pin box up this week. The dealer has it set too low. I haven't had a chance to do anything except drive it home this past weekend.Re: Your Rig 2012 KZ Durango 1500 D295CS Partial paint 50 amp electrical service Two AC units (15K & 13K) Minimal carpet in living area Electric fireplace Freestanding dinette 2010 Dodge Ram 2500 Laramie Megacab 4X4 6.7L Cummins diesel Firestone R4Tech rear suspension Superglide 18K hitch Blue Ox Bedsaver Re: Post your tow vehicle pics hereLove that Megacab :C Is it a 2500 or 3500?Re: Post your tow vehicle pics hereAnother Meggie Owner :C Been thinking of throwing a cap on the back of mine. Been hesitant since I also wanted to add an aux fuel tank in the bed. I've seen one company that offers an extension for the fuel filler that mounts through the cap side wall. Just haven't seen one in person. But I do love the looks of a Meggie with a cap. larry_kruzan wrote: catfishmontana wrote: Our 2010 Dodge Ram 3500 Laramie Crew Cab Dually I remember those great pics!!!) Here is my Mega Cab with a Century Ultra Cap. Afraid that the picture quality is not very good since I was at the dealership with a cellphone. The truck should arrive at home in three more weeks. It's having the wheelchair conversion made by Ryno Mobility. Larry Re: Post your tow vehicle pics hereThat thing is freakin' huge! :ERe: Post your tow vehicle pics hereLove them Ram Meggies. :CRe: Post your tow vehicle pics here larry_kruzan wrote: It's at Ryno Mobility right now, haveing the wheelchair conversion done. They say 6 weeks or so. It will be nice to get the truck for more than just a test drive. When I get it back it will be 4" higher, have a 50 gallon Transfer Flow tank, plus the wheelchair lift, hand controls and be ready to see the country. My first truck in 25 years. 7 vans to get to where I was before my injury. Hurray!! The Ram is such a great ride and so comfortable compared to my E350. I can't wait to get it hooked up to the TT. Very nice truck. I wish I would have got the 3500 Mega Cab instead of the 2500 Meggie.
