I can't remember which route I took to Carlsbad. We were coming from Tombstone, Arizona. Filling stations were very rare. At the immigration stop area (or whatever it is called) I had a full tank. My slide topper is the type that rolls up under a cover. Problem I have with that is unlike uncovered slide toppers you can't retract the slide a little to get rainwater off because with the cover you just don't have the proper angle. I have to sweep the water off with a broom. Even with that, would not be without one.530Views0likes0Comments
