I have a 2017 F150 w/max tow package 3.5 eco boost 3:55 gears. I tow a 30' SportTrek GVRW 8300. Trailer pulls great no issues there. Gas MPG is 20-22 without the trailer 9-10 when pulling. I own a 2017 Venture SportTrek 271VRB. After owning several trailers I'd say this one was the best built. I have pulled it over 5000 miles and have had only minor issues that I fixed myself. I have the 2016 F150 Max Tow W/3.5 eco boost and 3.55 gears. I pull a 8300 trailer. Pulled it from Mn to Nashville thru the Smokey Mtns and back the truck has no issues what so ever pulling this trailer. Gas mileage is between 8 and 9.5 depending on speed and terrain. without the trailer the truck gets 19-21 mpg. Hope this helps.174Views0likes0CommentsRe: 2001 GMC Yukon 1500 as TV
I pulled a 7000lb GVWR trailer with a Tahoe with the trailer tow package. The short wheel base of the truck makes for poor towing. I had a lot of sway if there was any amount of wind. I'd recommend renting a trailer first. That will give you a better understanding of what you can tow. Good luck.315Views0likes0Comments
