trailer with a garage
Im looking at getting a trailer with a garage so I can load my motorcycle into. I don't need an actual toy hauler with a rear ramp, just a garage. Ive heard there are some that are drive through which would be nice but not necessary. Can anyone refer me to a good make and model with aluminum framing a must. from experience, here is what the problem is. There is likely a hole in the rubber roof which is letting water in, running down the wall(s) and settling in that area which has rotted the wood from the hole to the puddle. Once it has settled in a puddle it has rotted the wood that the fiberglass is laminated to (delamination). This can be repaired but will take a lot of time. If you do not have carpentry skills I would have a repair outfit fix it but be ready to take a good hit to the wallet. I fortunately have carpentry experience and friends that have built campers for guidance. In order to make repairs on my camper I had to pull the furnace out. I wired it back up according to my notes butwouldnt turn on. I called a local shop and he told me to wire it up differently. When returning the fuse it sparked unordinarily. I still cant get it to turn on. Could I have burned the board out or is it still wired wrong. black and white wires from camper. Red white and black from furnace, red and white from thermostat. just outside of SFO is the Petaluma KOA. I highly suggest staying there while in the SFO area. My family and I stayed there and was quite nice. Store, laundry, SFO private tours from KOA, pool, playground, Hookups and all. Whenever we go back we will stay there again. If you plan on touring the city, DO NOT drive the camper into town due to no parking and traffic. When we were at Yosemite we had to make reservations.248Views0likes0Comments
