Bear Creek Campground in Bristol, CT at Lake Compounce is only about a 1/2 hour from there. Haven't stayed there yet...Re: Recommended Tow Set-Ups (Brands) for the Toadx3 for ReadyBrute! Over 30k miles towing a Suby Forester ~3200#. Actually lighter weight setup and less costly than many others, in addition to simply working!Re: Chaco canyon NP in NM ?'sOne day isn't enough to fully appreciate Chaco. 21 miles of gravel - 1st 7 are good, 2nd 7 ok, 3rd 7 plan on slow going (10-15mph). We spent 4 nights in there last year - could have stayed longer! I'd hate to make the drive in and out in a single day, wouldn't allow enough time to see backcountry sites or the nighttime astronomy presentation.Re: Close call (fire) with water heaterCloudDriver - like your mod for emptying the HWH!Re: Roadside Assistance Questionsame answer as on other forum.... Look at the additional benefits FMCA gives you - especially the FMCAssist to get you home...Re: Hard time finding a short full mattress.look at www.foambymail.com - you can buy a full sheet of foam - they sell different densities and thicknesses. Comes compressed and rolled - easy to cut with an electric knife to any size/shape you need. Can create your own mattress by layering different types of foam. Have used them for the past 2 rigs - very pleased.Re: Northern Vermont to MaineRte 2 across NH and ME is just fine. Catherdral Pines? Stayed there - Rte 27 north from Rte 2 up thru Carrabassett Valley should be fine. Neither are high speed routes - enjoy the ride!Re: Nashville, TNHi VE, etc... Slightly off your conversation - we just stayed at Seven Points in May. Nice CG. Now drag a toad behind the B+, since we traded in the Roadtrek 4 years ago, so didn't have the issue you did. Easy ride into Nashville from the COE. You might want to check out parking at Nissan Stadium. LARGE parking lot, footpath/bridge right into downtown Nashville - supposedly free - plenty of room for the RT from what we could see. Also large parking lot at Grand Old Opry - again no issue for RT. Hope this helps!Re: Visiting Montreal and Quebec Cityx2 on KOA just south of Old QuebecRe: Gas Mileage Winnebago View / Itasca NavionSame M/B chassis under my Prism B+, I get 15-15.5 pulling the toad, about 16.5+ without the tow.
