Get solar, too. If you like RV parks in towns, get a bigger rig. The OP is correct that a truck or SUV and small, lightweight travel trailer is the best bang for the buck. +1; when we bought our new MH went as short as possible for what we wanted. It's 25 ft the smallest NP CG we have been in it with was Guadeloupe mtn. Parked the JKU at right angle to RV just fit at 29 ft total.Re: Grill guardWhen we went to Alaska didn't have a grill guard, also didn't need it there. Later added one as the best solution for adding a winch mount.Re: A/C keeps tripping from noon till dusk donn0128 wrote: Check incoming voltage from the park. Guarantee you will find a low voltage situation. This is a good place to start. Low supply voltage, brown out conditions, can lead to early breaker failure. Low voltage can also lead to compressor over heating and the high temp protection tripping the breaker. A weak starting capacitor will also give these symptoms. Sometimes a hard starting kit is the answer. Check voltage and current as other suggested. There is also an outside chance the compressor is getting ready to fail.Re: Yahoo mail problems mr. ed wrote: I used to use Yahoo exclusively back in the day, but now mostly use various other email providers. Lately, Yahoo mail isn't working for me. When I try to access the website I get a message that it can't be found, or something to that effect. I've tried both Edge and Chrome browsers. It's the same on both. I've had similar problems in the past. Anyone else? You can be sure I'll be phasing Yahoo mail out. Didn't work yesterday; works fine today.Re: Installing solar, got a question...quoated wrong post.Re: AGM Batteries storage maintenance charge Rail Dawg wrote: Two Trojan 6V AGM batteries in series (12v). If we put them into 6 months storage fully-charged what would you recommend as the minimum amps for a charger/maintainer? Thanks! As a quick and dirty 3 amps if you keep them wired in series. It's best to check what the manufacturer says though.Re: power flickers when a/c kicks off...(Not on) 3 times now.Typical symptom of a loose connection.Re: FlexSealDidn't work for us; we use Dicor or for larger areas Eternabond and Dicor.Re: Free camping sites in BC?!BC Parks and Trails web site.Re: Latest WIN 10 UpdateI don't put my files on some one eleses' server which is basically all the cloud is.
