We use Olive Oil that comes in a spray can and just give what needs a little oil a quick shot, Shake before putting in to mix and then about half way through give another quick shake. Can you mount the hitch behind the rear axle? Yes, Should you? I wouldn't if it was me. Would I have the bed shortened? Yes I would. I have seen several that the rear wheels were close to the rear of the bed. In fact some actually mount the hitch a few inches ahead of the axle. My first question is "What is the total length of the hitch box? You can install a longer hitch box on the 5th wheel. Reminds me of a customer of the dealership I worked at long time ago. He had a oil filter that used TP for a cartridge. Motor had over 300,000 miles on it and never used any oil. Did help him tear it down at 325,000 miles and it was clean as a whistle. Only did redo engine because of miles not any defects. One thing I had not seen mentioned or I missed the post is maybe think about having your weapons professionally cleans by a gunsmith while you are out of country. Then pick them back up when you come back through. Back when Gander Mountain as a going business many used to drop theirs off to them in route to Canada and then picked their handguns back up later on the return trip. OK, you might not believe this but I did a search for one that matched the measurements I needed. Ordered one off of Walmart and had it within 5 days. Fit perfectly and really comfortable. Another scale that may be available if they don't have a line of trucks waiting would be the local quarry. I asked the last time I got gravel for drive about weighing the truck and trailer and they said they would do it. Anyway, I got all the weights I needed and they did it for free.
