Learned a ton during this process but did install a new dinosaur board .....which is the same one that was currently in the trailer but it fired right up and has been running great. No idea why the other dinosaur board had failed but it did. So all is well now and thank everyone for the help. -NickRe: help with my Atwood heater please asapI will for sure let you all know. It seems like I did a ton of research but didn't see too many results so if im able to help anyone in the future that's greatRe: help with my Atwood heater please asapso after talking to atwood and now dinosaur they are both pointing at the board. So being I am in a bit of a rush I have a board coming. I suppose I have basically checked just about everything else. Dinosaur was going to have me test a couple things but I should prob just order a board that it has failedRe: help with my Atwood heater please asapexactly which is why I changed the electrode because its also the flame sensor. I agree it doesn't seem to be sensing flame but I have it all adjusted to spec and nothing changed from when I put the new one in. I will talk to the circuit board manufacturer in about 30 minRe: help with my Atwood heater please asapyes I did. I actually did it on the original one too. I figure I would replace anyways being they say its a regular maint item. Talked to atwood this morning and they are now pointing me at the board but I will talk to dinosaur here pretty soonRe: help with my Atwood heater please asapI realize that its expensive and I have tested most everything. Electrode is cheap and so is a regulator really, and I don't mind replacing being they are a maint item anyways. I have not checked the current on igniter being the flame fires off the first time no problem I figure that would be fineRe: help with my Atwood heater please asapCleaned all connections on the coils. All connections seem fine. I assume coils work being the furnace fires off. Planning to call dinosaur tomorrow I guessRe: help with my Atwood heater please asapok guys so ive worked on It for a couple hours now. Replaced the regulator which I didn't mind doing anyways. Smell propane and it fires up then shuts down the same as it was. pulled the whole heating element out and cleaned burner checked orifice and all that. Measured and set electrode close to burner like atwood has told me. Still same result. im at a total loss. what do I do next? I have no clue but to maybe buy a board. im going to call atwood again tomorrow and see what my next step is. ThanksRe: help with my Atwood heater please asappurchased a marshall regulator so im going to try to install that tonight and hope for the best.Re: help with my Atwood heater please asapthanks again for the help guys. Talked to atwood and they recommend I removed the burner assembly and make sure the electrode is 1/4 inch from burner I guess. I had just replaced the electrode by itself and never removed the whole burner assembly. I will take a look at that and also may just replace the regulator for the hell of it. Hopefully the burner assembly isn't too hard to remove. He made it sound pretty simple
