I just shook my head and told the son to keep him on a short chain. Not so friendly. In my 30 years RVing I have NEVER met such unfriendly, foul mouthed owners as these people. I spent one night in Sept cause I was exhausted-BIG mistake. I do wish no one to experience this. RVing should and usually is enjoyable. I do not wish to offend anyoneRe: Disc Brakes in along with 8k axles.Excellent job WELL DONE. Great job on the safety support aspect. You are going to love the disc brekes, amazingly superior to drums-ENJOYtoy haulers stop at weigh stations? Are toy haulers required to stop at weigh stations/truck inspections or are they the same as all travel trailers{rv`s) What about flatbed trailers hauling personal items? Thanks in advanceRe: Sailun Tires on SaleAre the Sailun tires made with slave labor like so many Chinese products? Personally, I am pleased with Michelin and BFG tires. Just my opinion and this is America where we free.Re: Smarty Jr. ScottG wrote: Same setting I use and I can easily feel it. Are all the setting at their default values? If the POD is adjusted down it will directly effect power output. Also, if you don't have a boost elbow, it would be helpful. BTW, regardless of what MADs says, you need a pyro. You absolutley CAN get the EGT's too high if your working the truck hard, like pulling a trailer up a steep mountain pass. I speak from experience. I ABSOLUTELY AGREE WITH SCOT. If I did not monitor my egt`s while towing my 14k 5`er, I would have lost my 5.9 MANY years ago. If you are concerned about high EGT`s try water/ meth injection. That said you still need boost and egt gauges with the SMARTY on SW2 or 3 when towing. Scot is spot-on!Re: TiresSeveral years ago,I went to COSTCO Tire to complain/wine/gripe about my Michelin LT 265-17 tires that were garbage and wearing out . Guy behind the counter listened to my complaints then looked up my info and said you have nearly 60,000 miles on them. Seems like time flies when you are having fun. With that, I put 4 new Michelins on the Dodge/Cummins. 60k miles most of which were pulling -no bad at allRe: Unfortunate report on new RamNew car , new truck , new rv-it is all **** shoot.Re: Heading to the Gulf Coast-fuel considerationsHeading for Charlotte to visit wife`s cousin on Monday. I do hope the storms go easy on us. Been really DRY here in Oregon-a little rain will be enjoyable. Really tired of the smoke from all the fires here in the western half of the state.
