We have had no issues with our furnace or slide out. Good luck!Re: RVers, Start your engines!!I would love to hear my insurance agents response.... "Im sorry maam.... What happened to your travel trailer??"Re: Lighting up outdoor Kitchen..We have the exact same outside kitchen (in fact exact same trailer). Simply due to lack of a better idea, we place a couple battery puck led lights right on the counter top. They end up pointing directly up into the air, but they are so bright it still illuminates the entire kitchen area. Have fun! We LOVE our Shadow Cruiser 280QBS!!!Re: Trailer Comparison - Feedback requestedI would go with the Fun Finder. Cruiser RV is a great manufacturer. Also they have the longer bed and vaulted ceiling. Everything else is comparable.Re: Do you use your outside kitchen?Yes, YES, 1000x YES! We tent camped for 25 years. We had long given up on the pain in the neck camp stove and cooked everything on the campfire. We were very proud of our use of the campfire and wanted to continue to cook by the campfire when we purchased our first TT last year. The outside kitchen has been the best surprise feature for us. We still cook our main item on the campfire. But its so easy to throw a second pot up on that little stove. Not to mention dependable flames (ever try to boil pasta on a campfire? Good luck!) Of our group of campers, we are the only ones with an outside kitchen and we are all the envy! Like a cell phone and dvr, you will wonder how you ever got by without it!Re: Oh no! Ripped and bubbled floor!Oh my goodness, being new owners I had no idea this could happen. We are in Wisconsin and the temps have been below zero for many, many days so far this winter. This weekend cant come soon enough for me to go check it out.Re: suggestions for light weight bunk house with slide out(s)Check out Cruiser RV (manufacturer). We chose the Shadow Cruiser. Excellent quality and price! We have been beyond thrilled.Re: Prowler vs Shadow Cruiser Build QualityWe purchased a Shadow Cruiser 280 QHS from New Generation RV last June 2013. (We were on the fence between the 280 and 313. Ultimately chose the 280 to be conservative on weight, but now wish we had chosen the 313.) We have been very happy with our purchase and have no complaints with our Shadow Cruiser! All of our friends and family of been shocked to see the quality we got for the cost (and weight). Happy Camping!!Re: Best bunkhouse under 30ftAs someone else said, check out the Shadow Cruiser! (Made by Cruiser RV). We just purchased the 280QBS (wanted 313, but we were not comfortable with weight and our truck). For extra family space, look for the Mega Lounge floor plan (this is possible in any of the Shadow Cruiser models). We have had ours 1 month and had it out on 3 trips.... we absolutely love it.
