Then I bought a PowerMax PM3_35 Power Supply Converter, 35Amp from amazon for about $85 and was really surprised with how much better it ran the pump. Been using it that way for about a year full-time. Good Luck.Re: Best place to buy Dometic Brisk Air 2 top unitWell, I ordered on Wednesday, delivered today and took about 45 minutes to install. Used my tractor bucket to lift up the unit. Came inside removed grill and the 4 screws to top unit. Back on roof and removed old, set new one in place and finished up everything inside. United RV had it packed well and delivered quickly.Re: Best place to buy Dometic Brisk Air 2 top unitJust ordered from United RV out of Texas: parts.unitedrv.com Ended up being $652 with shipping and military discount. Dometic Air 2 13.5K. Looking online, I see a few places but after checking them out, not so sure about doing business with them. RV Parts Country, Big Daddy Parts & Camper Parts World are the same group with 3 different names and a ton of bad BBB reviews. Hate doing business at Camping world. Would really like suggestion that come from purchasing experience. ThanksMonitoring Temp while awayWe always worry about leaving our dogs when we go out to dinner or appointments. A couple of months ago, I purchased a thermometer that has alarms that will come to your phone. It has been so nice to be able to check the temp back at the camper and know that everything is alright. Here is what we have been using: GoVee Wireless Thermometer Hope this helps some of you.Re: Long distance tank disposalI'm currently just over 185 feet to the sewer connection with just a slight downward slope. We use the FloJet Portable Macerator and 2 cheap 5/8" water hose. Used it like this for just over a year and once you have the process figured out, it's a pretty simple procedure. My first method was the blue tote; but now it's my backup that I hope I don't need. Good Luck!Re: Refrigerator Outside VentsOP here. Like always appreciate the feedback. I should have mentioned that I did fill space with a bat of insulation that ends at the edge of the fridge. So, there is no dead air space. As for the heat dissipating from the fins; I agree that the lower board directed the fan across it. But I have a hard time seeing that a fan in a enclosed space is more effective than a fan that is still focused on the fins with more access to air flow. The fan is still 6-7 inches below the edge of the board, so I don't feel like the air flow or direction was really affected. But I'm always open to you guys with the positive feedback and directions.Refrigerator Outside VentsI have a Wolfpack 325 pack 13. The cabinets over fridge held a lot of heat and the freezer was just ok. Noticed a wasp flying around the external vents and thought I better check for nest. Pulled the top vent cover and was surprised to see that the wall covering came up over the fridge heat dissipater and there was a board across the top blocking airflow (pictures explain better) anyway there was only about a 3 inch gap for the heat to exhaust. I made some modifications and Wow, the difference was immediate. The aux fan had even shut off before I had things cleaned up and back together. It's worth a look to pop off that top vent cover and check. https://ibb.co/k5fgd1c https://ibb.co/qyCLYhKRe: Dometic AC compressorThanks guys. That was all I could think of also. And DFord is correct, a new upper unit is about the same pricing. Next question, can I install the 15Kbtu in place of our 13.5Kbtu; without making any electrical changes?
