With that said none of those trucks ever had any issues but I did spend a ton of time and money on maintenance and driving an hour out of my way to make sure that the DPF filters were clear.AT&T at Manatee Springs State parkManatee State Park in Chiefland Florida. I see a lot of reviews saying poor to no cell service there but they don't mention what carrier. Can anyone comment on Verizon and AT&T cell service there?Re: Keeping pets safe in travel trailer while “home alone”We use the Marcell Pro cellular monitor that will call, text AND email me if the RV loses power or if the temps get above or below a preset level or if the humidity rises dramatically. It uses cellular service and not wifi so it will work ALMOST everywhere and does not rely on campground wifi which will be non existent in a power outage. Marcell ProRe: freon charge in a DometicThank You Doug! I had never known that. I learned something new today. dougrainer wrote: You take a TEMP compensated AMP draw of the compressor. VERY accurate. There is a Compressor AMP draw stated on the AC model label. THAT amp draw is based on 95 degree ambient temp. So, you subtract 1 AMP for every 10 degrees below 95 degrees. ADD 1 AMP for every 10 degrees above 95. Lets say the Rating is 12.2 amps for the compressor. It is 75 degrees outside. Subtract 2 amps. The Compressor after running a minimum of 15 minutes will draw 10.2 amps. IF lower, by more than 1 amp, you have lost part of the charge. IF 80 degrees subtract 1.5 amp, same test. Doug freon charge in a DometicHi everyone. Is there anyway to verify low freon charge in a Dometic 15,000btu without installing a line tap and ambient air temperature is to cold to really check output temperature? Compressor load test maybe?Re: Looking at '17 3500 RamThe CP4 issue has been way overblown in my opinion. Call your local dealer and ask them how many they have had to replace vs how many trucks they have sold. Also all HO trucks built after July 2020 have a revised symmetrical CP4 pump that may be a fix for those CP4 problems that did arise.Re: Central Michigan campground this weekend FHU ericosmith wrote: You might try this https://steamboatpark.info/ We are heading there today but I believe they are now sold out. This weekend is Grand Valley State University's family weekend which is right down the road from the campground.Re: “I was shocked with just how white it was there,” she said.Middle aged white guy here thinking out loud. If I checked into a campground that was 95% black would I feel uncomfortable and out of my comfort zone.........Re: tongue jack slippedI had this happen ONCE as well. As soon as I unhooked from the ball the camper moved hard right. The campsite pad was located just after a curve in the "driveway". I suspect that my axles had some twist in them from backing and turning. I should have pulled straight and then backed straight up to relieve the axle twist but I didn't. Lesson learned.Re: Upper Peninsulai just woke up to clear skies and 50 degrees at Indigo Bluffs....... just saying :)
