Sometimes I wish we went for that one. One thing to look at, the 2017-mid 2020's had a floor construction issue and changed the floor in mid 2020 to a waterproof construction.Re: Rhode IslandSome things may not be doable with Covid but I would recommend: Newport - mansions, The Cliff Walk, 7 mile drive, Thames St Providence - WaterFire, good restaurants, tour the East Side, Roger Williams Park ( I love the greenhouses). Great towns to explore: Westerly, Narragansett, Wickford Village, Jamestown. I have stayed at Whispering Pines Campground. If you're in RI you can easily tour Eastern CT (Mystic Seaport) and Southeastern MA (Battleship Cove in Fall River, Whaling Museum in New Bedford)Re: Black Foam sourceSpray foam for backyard fish ponds is usually black. I wonder if it is more waterproof as well.Re: Titan Cummins Diesel option axed for 2020 fx2tom wrote: When I bought my 2016 Titan XD 5.0 SL 4x4 I paid $42k OTD. I could not have picked up a fully loaded one from the Big 3 comparable equipped at the time. They were all $50k+ before TT&L so I believe it. I used the hell out of it before selling it when my employer handed me a $48k Tundra. Titan XD was a far better truck than the Tundra for the money. It worked perfectly for my 8,300 lb fully loaded trailer. Would a 6.7l or 6.6l worked even better? Sure, but I wasn't spending the extra money and similar to demiles I was pushing 21 MPG day to day empty. I also didn't mind the looks. That is exactly what I paid for my SL model brand new(58K sticker). My truck has been trouble free minus a replaced DEF tank under warranty. I have 38K miles on it and I have returned up to 24 mpg highway but typically around 21mpg (it is mainly flat here in eastern MA). It pulls my trailer with ease. Now that it is breaking in it is more fun to drive. But, with this announcement I am wondering what the future holds for service and resale. I am wondering if I should trade out. Too bad because I am very pleased with the truck.Re: Rear-Living TTs: Likes, dislikes, features, models...We have a 2018 Keystone Premier 30RIPR. Its great as far as an open feel. Big back window, big windows behind the table and recliners. Also, with both slides in I can still access the bathroom, bedroom, fridge, and pantry for those stops heading down the road. One thing I would change if I could, swap the slides - the slide with all the windows is on the side that faces the neighbors campsite, and not ours. But it hasn't been as big of an issue as I thought it would.Re: Boston - Cape Cod areaThe KOA you are staying at is 2 miles (as the crow flies) from a commuter rail station in Middleboro. It should be easy for you to get into Boston from there!Re: Nissan Titan XD aux tank RGar974417 wrote: gregrc75 wrote: I have a 2016 Titan XD and I get 23 mpg highway in the summer. When towing my 7500 lb trailer I get 11.5-12 mpg. I have not beat 12 mpg towing yet. I have 31,000 miles on my truck now. Our trailer is about 1500 lbs lighter so that might help a little. Plus you have 2 Labs, we only have one, a black one. That should help too. Haha You know, I did notice a drop in mileage when we got the second lab! HahahaRe: Nissan Titan XD aux tankI have a 2016 Titan XD and I get 23 mpg highway in the summer. When towing my 7500 lb trailer I get 11.5-12 mpg. I have not beat 12 mpg towing yet. Company paid as they were paying for paint and clear on all their trailers anyways . So are you saying that your cars paint job last forever? Its clear coated. I’m not sure that he is saying that, but what I have learned since yesterday is there are cheaper clear coats with no UV protection and more quality examples with UV protection. I’m guessing these front caps have less quality coatings since they are fading after only a couple of years, unlike most cars.Re: Front cap sun cover? harley4275 wrote: . {It’s a brand new trailer and the finish is still glossy. I was trying to prevent an issue but maybe this is the way to go. } Have the cap just clear coated ...you can go right over the decal too. Never fade again oe ever. There is an RV collision/paint shop about 20 minutes from my house. I can call them and ask about cost. A simple coat or two of clear coat would prevent this? Pardon my ignorance.
