I have a 2012 Coachmen Freedom Express trailer that we purchased new from a different dealer, and the service was dismal to say the least. Trailer was pretty good so not a lot of service actually needed, but one thing that never worked right from the get-go was the slam latches for the front storage. The place I bought the trailer wouldn't do anything about it insisting that they would loosen up over time. We have a permanent spot for the trailer so we don't use this compartment much but the locks have reached the point where one will not un-lock and the other will not lock, so have to be replaced. After explaining the situation to Travel Land RV in Regina, and discussing with Forest River, to my surprise two new latches arrived today and I was told that there would be no-charge. Very impressed with both of these companies for going the extra mile, doesn't happen too often anymore.Re: Handy Hints, Gadgets, Products & GizmosWe use a tote that sits outside the door for shoes slides under trailer at niteand has cover.
