I have not noticed any deterioration in the foam. I don’t think you have to worry about the freezing and thawing for your mattress.Re: Flojet portable maceratorPM sentRe: Flojet portable maceratorI have a portable Flojet that was added to my unit by the previous owner. It is a 190 Roadtrek. They installed it with the discharge hose going through the side storage bin. It can be removed for maintenance (just changed the impeller this week).Re: Alternator not charging the House after battery upgrade HELPI would also check your isolator and connections to the isolator.Re: RV Sales PushI think there will be a lot of used RV’s on the market next year. I suspect a lot of these buyers are buying them on a bit of a whim. On a normal cycle a lot of owners realize that RVing is not as idealistic as the videos purport and sell them after one or two seasons.Re: NapsWe generally will take a nap early afternoon on our driving days. 30 minutes to an hour and then we are ready for the last few kms to our final destination.Re: Roadtrek or Pleasure Way??Based on water capacity only I would get the Pleasureway. The 170 would require us to dump/fill everyday.Re: Power Window not workingMy power window stopped working and I looked on YouTube and found one video where you just clean the contacts on the switch with rubbing alocohol. Voila, it worked!Re: Have dealership service depts gone downhill lately, or...Finding a good mechanic is one of the best things to do. I don’t mind paying a bit more for good service, but, I like someone I can trust. The trick is knowing if you actually get good service. I’m sure there are competent dealer mechanics, but, because the overhead at a dealer is higher than your typical independent shop there is an incentive to find more “recommended” parts or service. I go to my independent since over the years he has done things for me that I believe a dealer wouldn’t have. Right or wrong, that’s what I think.Re: Canadian sticker shockI will disregard the taxes, healthcare, military, and political arguments. Fact is the OP was shocked at the prices for fuel and beer. Compared to the USA, fuel and beer in Canada is significantly more expensive in Canada than the USA. I love the price of fuel and beer when we travel in the USA!
