Mine doesn't squat that much but I do get some shudder on quick take-offs. Shims are not the answer and air bags may help but won't eliminate the shudder. From dead stops I don't throw the hammer down (unless on a steep hill) and instead ease into moving until I'm in 2nd or 3rd gear. Exactly the same with me.Re: 2014 F350 VibrationMy dodge has done this since day one with the 5er on it. 89000 miles later it has caused no problems.Re: 2007 Dodge 6.7 mileageIt is an Epa thing. The egr and dpf drag down the 6.7. When they are removed it is as good as the 5.9 or even better.Re: just starting out full timing with no generator,or inverter.Carried my generator for two years and never used it.Left it in storage for this year and needed it twice!! I did use my 2000 watt inverter instead.Ran everything but the a/c and worked out well.Re: FULL TIMING IN A FIFTH WHEELWe have fulltimed in our 5er for over 3 years and still love the choice. Very roomy and the high cieling fights any clautrophobia.Forget about using inverters for A/C Your battery bank would have to be rediculous. Most any 5er can come with a generator or get yourself a honda 3000.Re: 2007 Dodge 6.7 mileage14 Towing and 21 hwy not towing. I have never hit 3500rpms that would be about 90mph in 5th. That said in those occasions I hit the tow/haul button quick as I can.Its worked so far.Re: '07 Dodge 6.7L harsh shifts using tow haul or exhaust brake? I tried towing with the transmission in TOW MODE and found the shifts to be too harsh, especially when downshifting during decelerating while towing. I tow without using the TOW MODE and I always keep the exhaust brake on. If I get in a situation where I need a lower gear, I just manually downshift using the switch on the shifter stalk. Works great, no problems. This is exactly how how run my truck. Exhaust brake on all the time-towing or not. Tow mode is never on-I use the toggle switch on the gear shifter to upshift and downshift to my liking-works very nicely. I'm with you on that! One of the cheapest hitches out there and functions perfectly every time! I like mine so much I had it custom painted and clear coated cause the powdercoat faded. I have repainted mine as well since it is about 10 years old and doing its second 5er fulltime.
