Must have gained more than sand burrs and a one paved road since I been there.Re: plastic v. porcelain toiletsI can tell the plastic from the Jayco to the porcelain in the Scamp for cleaning. The Scamps also sits higher because of the way the toilet is installed.Re: Feet or head first????You don't have to be impaired to get a head nogging in our Jayco. Our trailer has a cabinet above the bed that does it regardless. I don't know what they were thinking when they designed the trailer but if you didn't want to bump our head getting out of bed you slept next to the sink.Re: 2014 Sugar Beet Harvest sets RecordThe harvest is hot and heavy here in Sidney, Mt. The beet trucks are just as bad as the water haulers in the oil fields. They fill the trucks so full the beets fall off. Took out the windshield of one of my husbands coworkers wife. He cringes every time he sees a truck with beets in it.Re: Water PoliceFill your fresh water tank. Disconnect from the campground water for the night and blow out the hose to keep the water from freezing in it. Most of the places campground water and sewer lines are not that far underground. It is October and you did get a note of warning.Re: Jeep Liberty Trailer Hitch Receiver -Free Safety Recall FixDid it way before the recall.Re: Man, there's a lot of******in my camper! We moved our Montana "36' mobile" home into our new sticky. I never thought I would get done unloading it. Then we went back home and loaded our 19' Scamp fiver to bring stuff back to Montana. My husband was worried we were overloading it when I reminded him that we had put a lot more in that little trailer from our 25' 5th wheel when we came back from North Dakota to Iowa two years ago. Now that we can use the Scamp for camping, I have taken the remnants of our full time living in it out.Re: WalkersI can understand it in a campground but when it's your own yard you really got to take offense. We live next to a city park that is popular with tourist and locals for it's waterfall that cascade from under the bluff that feeds the creek that goes through our yard. Some people assume that the entire creek is part of the park even though they have to pass a sign that says Private Property and walk by the front of the house while I am standing on my porch watching them. I even had a group of guys jogging by on the main road veer up my driveway and drink out of the creek. I hesitated to say anything hoping they all would get a case of Giardia for blatantly trespassing on my property. I have even had people ask to use the bathroom. No, please go down to the quick tripRe: Anyone with experience using a gooseneck?Come out to Montana in the Oil Patch. Over half of the 5th wheels have drop downs to be transported as a gooseneck. These guys do this so they can have them hauled in or able to move them with their service trucks.Re: Thermopolis, WyomingDon't know about camping butt my husband says he would take me to visit in a minute.
