You can ask the dealer to give you a lease agreement to take home to read at your convenience, prior to negotiations and signing. Good luck!Re: Tundra and Windjammer 3008W - any experience? Thanks for all the informative replies. The numbers aren't giving me the warm feeling I now enjoy. We do lots of long haul trailering, prairies, Rockies, continental divide, you get the picture... Pulling the hybrid we now have gives me lots of flexibility with kayaks, generators and just the ease of parking it where a 35 footer will be tighter. I'll upgrade the TV before I buy into a trailer this size. Which I eventually will. Just not ready to give up my Tundra right now. Thanks again for the positive feedback. CheersRe: Tundra and Windjammer 3008W - any experience?Payload is good. Rated between 1350 - 1590 lbs. with trailer tongue at 720 that leaves me about 600 lbs at the bottom end of the rating for a couple people, gas and a few things in the bed.Re: Tundra and Windjammer 3008W - any experience? All the technical specs show that the tundra can technically haul this trailer, I'm just looking for anyone's real life experience in towing this combination. Experience regarding sway, power, or anything else that came to mind while pulling this setup. For conversation sake, it's primarily my wife and I and sometimes our daughter.Tundra and Windjammer 3008W - any experience?Hi There! I'm thinking about a 2015 Rockwood Windjammer 3008W. Currently have a 2009 Tundra Crewmax 5.7 liter TRD 4X4 as a TV. All the specs show that the Tundra can handle this trailer, but I'd appreciate anyone that has had any experience with this pairing? Cheers and thanks in advance! DanRe: Any Rockwood 231KSS owners?Traded in our 23SS last year for the 23IKSS. Very pleased with this upgrade. Travelled about 8000 km round trip from Alberta to Grand Canyon and back with a fair bit of meandering along the way. Towed very well behind the tundra. We've had a few issues and all have been taken care of through the warranty. The biggest issue was the flooring was gouged by the sofa slide. Forest River had the flooring replaced. We were pretty nervous about how that would turn out, but the local repair facility did an amazing job. Could not find a fault in their workmanship or materials. Another issue was the mattress on the rear bunk did not lay flat. When the bunk is in the down position there is an approximately 1 to 2 inch difference in height between the bunk and the back of the trailer. So my wife ended up sleeping off level. She didn't tell me about this for the month we were on the road. Not a complainer I guess. LOL. Anyway, last fall when we raised it as a warranty issue, FR didn't have a solution and wouldn't do anything. We met with a rep this spring at the spring RV show and he mentioned that there was now a modified mattress and advised us to try for a warranty claim again. Happy to say FR shipped the replacement mattress and we received it in Match this year. So, we've had a few warranty issues, but we are very happy with our trailer and the service from our local dealer, Holiday RV in Redcliff, Alberta.Re: Cool Mods - Thread restored 10/18/2012Here's an interesting rv. Have a look thru at the mods they put in. I like the quad storage. MAN RvRe: post pictures of your HTT [/img] Fits nicely beside the house. The neighbor offered to move his 5th Wheel while I backed in, but we managed to get it parked just fine. [/img] Tall, Lanky Lad #2 can even stand up straight. [/img] Aft end of the trailer. This will be where Mrs. and I sleep. Daughter Beth gets the other end. She's still small, but growing fast. [/img] Here's the Mrs. It's taken a long time to get to the point where we could get a trailer like this. We outgrew the tent trailer 5 years ago when the boys were only 5'10" or so. Now they're bigger. We plan on buying then a dome tent to sleep in. No sense crowding up the trailer. Lol
