It had an extended tow arm to connect to the pintle. It's like training wheels for a locked up axle. Call your insurance AAA, progressive etc, let them know what you have. They should have a set for that. I say should. Good luck. BTW changing bearings and the race if you have to is very basic, just a bit greasy. Took me longer to pull the jack and set the stands up.Re: New member(class C) + question about tire changeI live in Norcal as well. Go to Americas Tire/Discount tire same place. They don't turn away rvs one bit. They just jack the rig up with heavy duty jacks or bottle jacks. Check the dates. MS recall. I had all six replaces with certificates. About $1500 otd. They replace with MS2. Good tire.Re: Onan 4000 Generator Hard Starting from PanelI had the same problem with mine. Removed the contacts cleaned to a somewhat good shine, dialectric grease, autozone, pep boys etc.. took of like a bandit. This was at the 100 hour mark, give or take.Re: Onan micro lite 4000 stalls under loadX2 on the seafoam. I put three bottles in my tank and run the genny everyday under load for one hour. This is two weeks out from my trip at the end of this week. She runs nicey nice. No high/low surge, no stall when initial A/C load is activated. BTW I got that info from the folks here. It's nice to be able to assist other folks with questions like the ones I have. Hope that hells. BTW I dump that product in engine, tranny and fuel tank any chance I get. Put a little in my coffee, really helps with the hard starts and joints. Cheers.Re: E450 ball joints during alignmentI recently had service done, tranny oil, radiator flush and serpentine. 2007 with 13000mi. Talked to mechanic personally, it's good to have a diesel mechanic school and electrical mechanic with apprenticeship in my back pocket. I asked about suspension particularly the ball joints, no zerks. His take was 50-60k miles and depending on the type of miles, load etc. If I had 45k on mine and had the money I would have them done, but I think 1300 is a bit much. Hope that helps.Re: Roof Coating - Finally applied bedliner to my roof & picsHello roof pros, I might have a dumb question, will any of those roof products work on a TPO. I have a 30ft Fleetwood Jamboree 2007. I read the manuals made the call to Fleetwood. So TPO. If those products aren't compatible what would work. That will be my next project when I get back from a two week fishorama in the Pacific Northwest. Thanks in advance for the info.Re: stronger rear endTrying to magic wand the rear end with after parts on a specific load carry, would be a waste of money. IMHO, I would, if money wasn't an issue I would purchase a new tv. Gas or diesel is dealers choice. I ended up purchasing a 6.0 gasser dually, just because diesel is/was 6k more and diesel fuel was is at a rediculous price. My 6.0 3500 pulled my 31' tt like nothing and used it pull a 30' 5er. This is just an opinion as assisting other rv folk, with either been there done that info to help. In the end you have to do what works for you. Good luck. BTW stick withe data plates, keep you safe.Re: Re: Chevrolet Letter Of Possible Defected Fuel PumpI would add that my 97 GMC Jimmy did that very thing. Wasn't aware of a fuel pump in the tank. There the need for gas must be above a quarter tank. Under warranty but $400. Incidentally I was just entering an on ramp to a very busy freeway in New York. Had a gazillion cars behind. People behind were not happy. My point is there was a recall for that pump, the fix was to install at the lowest part of the tank. What about my safety, the safety of my family. I was lucky had it conked out as I was at freeway speed, who knows what my fate would have been. I think I would just lie, yep lie. Its a good lie. Tell them it's intermittent.Re: Sonoma, Napa, Santa Rosa or Petaluma RV DealerCheck out DeMarini RV in Sacremento. I know that might be a bit far, but I bought my C from them. Good people, no pressure, at least not for me. Demartini.com is your go to site. Main shop is in Grass Valley. BTW there after purchase service is top notch. Hope I helped. Good luck.Re: Laundry $$ @ YellowstoneWe were there in 2012. Stayed six days, two loads lights and darks, $3 to wash, $4 to dry. Big loads needed a bit more drying. Safe to say $10 bucks a week for a budget. BTW that's $1.75 per load wash and $2 per load dry. I think my wife said there was a super size speed queen for blankets and super duty loads. $4 per load. 5 hose prices are three years old. So inflation, agitation, manipulation, sorry trailed off we were talking laundry not multitudes of people who rented an rv took there whole family 1500 mi one way for fun, to see if they like camping. Then had the audacity to ask me for help, after a loud three days and no camping etiquette at all, to unstick his trailer from the hitch. Gotta love it.
