The Minnie's do have the "tank portion" of the underbelly enclosed and they say it is heated. Agreed on how tight they are. These are for a night or three only and would often just be two of us. I will look at those suggested. I have already looked at the Rockwood (online) and will go see one locally soon. I want to stay under 20k OTD for whatever we purchase. I have a 2016 Tacoma (with tow package) that I would like to tow with. It is rated at 6800 lbs and has a payload of about 1k. Realistically, I'd like to be no more than 5k GVWR for the trailer and about 600 lbs tongue weight.Small Trailer w/ Bunk and Enclosed/Heated UnderbellyI'm looking for a small (no more than 6k GVWR trailer that has an enclosed/heated underbelly and has a set of bunks. My only other requirement is a full bath vs a wet bath. This would be a close distance weekend trailer for my wife and two kids. We own a larger 5th wheel that we will be keeping, but I want something that we can tow with a smaller vehicle and use for a night or two. Thinking state parks, boondocking, etc. We are considering a Winnebago Mini 1700BH, but would like some other options as well. 1700BHWinnebago Micro Minnie 1700BHAnyone own one of these? We currently have a 5th wheel and I'm looking for something small that we could tow with a smaller vehicle for short one or two night closer trips - state parks, etc. We'll keep the 5th wheel for longer trips. We do use our trailers all year long, so I need to be able to use it below freezing. The Micro Minnie shows to have enclosed heated tanks. When I looked at it, it is only the tanks enclosed. The rest of the underbelly is exposed. All pipes, water pump, etc. are all above the floor though. Any thoughts on spray foam insulation on the bottom of the floor for additional insulation? We do have two kids that will be with us part of the time. I'd also use it by myself as a "hunting camp". Winnebago Micro Minnie 1700BH Any other thoughts? Anything else comparable to look at?Re: Grand Design Solitude 369RL QualityMy 369RL is about 1.5 years old and we have been very happy with it and with the company in general. If and when we look for something else, it will be very hard to even consider any other brand.Re: Valve Stem for 110PSI G Rated TireYep, Discount Tire... I'll find somewhere that can swamp the rubber for a metal one. This is actually my spare tire now, so it is not as big of an issue. FYI... this came off of a Grand Design Solitude 5th wheel. The tires were an "upgrade" I ordered and paid for. The tire was losing air from day one and Grand Design sent me a whole new tire and wheel which has solved the problem. I'm now trying to get this one fixed so I have two spares...Valve Stem for 110PSI G Rated TireQuestion that I think I already know the answer for... I have Goodyear 614 G Rated tires on my 5th wheel and one of them kept losing about half of the air. I took it to a large national tire chain and they found the valve stem leaking. They replaced it with a rubber valve stem and said it was a trailer tire valve stem and was rated for the 110PSI. They also said they didn't even have any metal valve stems. I'm thinking this is not accurate... Am I correct here?Re: I'm In Deep DoDoAlmost this same thing happened to our friend's year old 5th wheel. I'm not sure what was physically damaged and what is being replaced, but it is currently at the dealer being repaired. They've had it several months and insurance is paying. The estimate was $4500.Re: 2015 cedar creek 38ckWhat kind of work did you need that took two months?Re: Evergreen Bay HillSo because a TV (which is not part of the trailer) started smoking, they are replacing the whole trailer??? That doesn't make sense.Re: Cedar Creek vs Grand Design SolitudeI spoke with the Cedar Creek rep at the Dallas RV show. He said Goodyear had derated the tires and that they had no choice but to go back to non-Goodyear tires. That is just what I was told, but the 36CKTS at the Dallas RV show did not have Goodyears on it.
