We checked their BBB rating, then simply called them and negotiated over the phone. Actually ended up with a better deal then they were offering on e-bay.Re: Packrat damage- even worth fixing?Had a similar experience with a house. I would recommend starting by sweeping/vacuuming everything you possible can - wearing a dust mask and rubber gloves - then spraying every possabile surface with a good disinfectant/cleaner. Depending on how that goes, then make your decision to keep or junk.Re: Is it okay to drop my tip out beds at rest stops or Walmart?ASK where you plan to stop and go with what they say! With your "tent" type walls you may find it very noisy!Re: Full Timing QuestionsBeen a few years since I enrolled in VA for service connected dissabilities. I never used VA tho, so am not up to date on their latest info. Would suggest you talk to your VA rep at the clinic you use, they used to only allow a limited number of change of address per year and if you plan to return to your normal clinic in the winter you may be better off just to keep an address in Fl. If you use an address from SD (as example) and are enrolled in the VA clinic in that area, may impact getting care in other areas as you travel. I get my medical care thru a facitity where I have on-line access to my Drs and records. Has never been a problem to use an urgent care facitily when traveling, because the drs can see my records/medications and are always willing to communicate with my regular dr.Re: How often do you have two cars or guests?Quite often actually. We do a lot of kayaking and often have other family members join us for a few days. Down to Panama City Beach Ironman in Nov, daughter came down from NC and son joined us from Tallahassee, so three cars total there. Generally when we are out on longer trips, it's just us, our MH and Jeep. We did camp next to some full timers (family of 6) who towed one vehicle and drove 2 more!Re: Full timing near Olympia WA with 3 young kidsI take it your hubby is currently active duty? IF so you may be able to disscuss with MWR and not have to move after 14 days. I have visited many FAMCAMPS that make this type of accomadation for active duty who live in their RV.Re: VA Parkswww.militarycampgrounds.us will give you info on all US Military base famcamps. They also show who is eligible to use them. Some allow 100% disabled vets, some do not. Do you have a senior access pass for Federal Lands? This will give you 1/2 price camping in most (but not all) National Parks, Forests, etc.Re: Fulltiming with 8 K9's RV parks? lolOver the years I have camped at many places that allowed multiple dogs. These were mostly small Mom & Pop, no frills campgrounds. Your best bet will be to call each place you are interesed in staying and discuss your situation with them.
