Did have a lot of trouble with the Domectic frig until i put a good aftermarket electric box in. I kept it in a garage it entire life so i was probably crazy to sell it. Went to a 40' DP and sold the 3500 so it just took up room. Got 6500 for it. You keep them under cover and they will last a lifetime. Keep camping. We live in our coach seven or eight months a year. RobRe: I've come over to the dark side ;)There is no such thing as a Dark Side. I had a 95 Lance 935 on a 99 3500, a 32 holidays rambler that worked well for a 5th wheel and now a 40 Allegro Bus that is about as nice as anyone needs. I just sold my Lance and if I had a bigger barn it would still be here. We loved TCing and it is the RV for Alaska. We will have another TC if we do an other Alaska trip. Never sell your TCs until you spend at least three months in the way north west. Every RV has a purpose and most make owners very happy. Our daughter own a big toy hauler and a new 385 HP 3500 four door that I wish I had when we were TCing. I got a call last from a Bigfoot owner that is ordering a new Ram and he is thinking of going cab&chassis with a aluminum flat bed. I told him to go for it. He has always owned sticks but now going with the Asien. I drove my daughters and from what I noticed I think that is a great choice. I miss my Lance but love my Bus so enjoy RVing. RobRe: Getting to Class AI own a 07 40QSP Allegro Bus and love it. With that said, I will one day own a tag axle coach.everyone says that a tag is much more stable going down the road. In your price range you are in the drivers seat. I would look for a Spartan chassis coach 42 or 43'. You look at good coaches and you will find they have good power. Good luck and enjoy the buying process. RobRe: Thinking going Class AWe bought fromOBO who was selling do to health issues. Think about a used high end coach. $200,000 will buy a real nice coach. Spend time on the net and you will find all sorts of info. I would buy a brand that is still alive and well. Look at American Coach and Tiffin. Tiffin has a great network run by owners and they have an area on it that has units for sale by owners. TRVN.Com. AC also has a place that offers used ones for sale by owner. When we looked I only wanted to purchase it once, spend your time and research it well. Took us two years but we are very happy. A Diesel will always cost more to own but if you use it six months a year you will enjoy the difference. Go to TRVN and ask questions. Members there will gladly help. Good luck with your purchase. RobRe: Lazy Days TampaJoel Miner, very nice guy low key. Good. LuckRe: emergancy windowEveryone should open the window before you might need it. I made sure ours works and when it was opened I greased it with dielectric so that the seal would keep water out and if and when it was needed it would reopen. I think that three people died in a motorcoach fire do to the window being sealed to the rubber and not being able to be pushed open. One heck of a way to loose your life. Check out Mac the fire guy and watch his video. I open ours every year to make sure all is well. I also have a wooden stick cut the proper size to hold the window open if needed. If the window is not proped open getting out will not be easy. RobRe: Switch to class A from FiverI had a TC, 5th and now a DP. We have enjoyed all of them. DW was happy in 5th but I wanted solid cherry and a big diesel . We live in a nice stick home so I wanted a nice winter home. I am concerned about the future so I wanted to use our money before someone needs it more than us. The 5th wheel was nice so if you are happy stick with it. My wife would like a rear bath but we do not need it so we will stick with our 07 40' . Enjoy the future. RobRe: Ink on Ultra Leather sofaTry OOPS. Found product in small hardware store. My wife was sick until she was able to remove stain. RobRe: Low Coolant sensorReturned after a 7000 mile trip and check engine and alarm went off with a code stating low coolant. Cummins found a bad censor in bottom of overflow tank. Tech hooked computer and found problem. With computer hooked up he jumped censor. I might not want to cross wrong wires in it. Never checked but you might find that there is only two wires. If that is the case I think it would turn off alarm and lite. Try it and save your self $400.00. Let us know how you made out. RobRe: Looking for a class AHello, If you live in the north east and a C with bed above driver would work contact me. A friend is getting rid of a Real nice one on a Ford. He bought it three years ago and used it twice. Has new tires and runs great. I think he is asking 25. I am going to take some photos and put it on Craig's list. Do not know the age of it but stored inside and nice. Rob
