Pretty sure Forest River still offers some too.Re: F-150 towingIf the dealer knows you are towing, and they are worth their salt, they'll have the relay and fuse installed before you pick the vehicle up. My experience anyway with all 3 F-150'sRe: Where to buy solar blankets? We picked ours up at R.E.I. I think they were under $15.00 a piece. Work well. Other than adding the one more for our 232, I think they are all from the original hybrid 9 years ago. I use clamps holding them to the rain gutters on the trailer and bungees around the tent ends. Only have a little problem when it's really windy. Just add a couple clamps then.Re: Considering JAY FEATHER ULTRA LITE FLOORPLAN X23F? bikendan wrote: Car Guy wrote: If you don't want a new trailer, consider looking at the 232. Steve the 232 hasn't been made since the 2008 model year. and only one of the 3 beds was a queen size. the back and side beds were only double beds, not 3 queen beds like the Roo/Shamrock 233 or 233S 3-bed models have. ...Just a consideration... :-)Re: Considering JAY FEATHER ULTRA LITE FLOORPLAN X23F?As an owner of the X23F predecesor the Jayco 232, we have been very happy with our trailer. This is our 3rd Jayco trailer. We have been very satisfied with the Jayco quality, warranty and customer service and consider it second to none. The dinette slide-out does open the floor up a bit, but you do loose some storage space. If you don't want a new trailer, consider looking at the 232. SteveTub repair? Fiberglas...Hi All - Wasn't sure where else to post this. Got the trailer out for spring, noticed a hole punched in the corner of the tub. :-( Any suggestions for self repair? Not terribly mechanically inclined. Thank you!Re: considering buying 2014 JAY FEATHER ULTRA LITE 23f?I will continue with the unknown mystery of the 'low clearance' I have an 06 Jayco 232 with 3 bunks, no slides and paint still on my rear skid rails. We love having a single step to get into the trailer. If you have a ridiculously steep driveway to approach, take it at angle, it works every time. We have slept up to 10 people in the trailer. We love our storage! We have a full wardrobe and an almost floor to ceiling cabinet. We have used hanging 4 box storage containers to get stuff up off the floor. The bunk covers and reflectics helps a ton in colder weather, also using a ceremic heater. I like being able to hear birds in the morning and rain patter on the roof. The biggy for us is the ventilation in the summer. We run the A/C maybe once or twice a year tops. As others have said, you have to decide if you want to have some areas under tents. We've had 2 hybrids over the past 9 years and never have had a leak issue.Re: Just WrongI feel for you! Reminds me why we do inside storage every year. Haven't been above 50 degrees for 90 days now. Just 59 days before she comes out of storage, 67 days to the first camp. Weeee! Can't wait. But as it stands right now, we'll have snow for the next 4 days. It's nice though, if it snows that means the temperature will be above zero. Had plenty of those this winter...Re: Jayco Jay Feather Trailering ElectricalI'm just going to throw my 2 cents in - what has become diluted in this thread is the difference between a 6 cylinder in a mini-van versus a V-6 in a compact truck or other. Part of it has to do with the body structure - unibody vs. body on frame. Rear axle ratio, tongue weight... there is so much to factor in. I had a V-8 Explorer with plenty of tow capacity for my 232, but after getting caught in a stiff cross wind, I realized the old 'tail wagging the dog' situation. Everyone always talks about 'how much it can pull' - the more important thing is 'how much and how fast can you bring it to a stop." Like I said, my 2 cents. Thank youRe: Hi all ,new tt hybrid owner and new campers.pics incl.Welcome to the Forum! Congratulations on the new trailer. Enjoy, share and feel free to ask questions.
