Freeman, I built a "noise box" for my junky generac "noise generator" and while it did cut down on the noise, it is such a hassle to take the genset and box that I am now buying a Kipor Yamaha knockoff for more then the Elim's but 60% less then the Yamaha and 2 db more. If you think you will need to use a box with the gen then wait a little longer and save a little more and get something else. Keep in mind that any type of box will need to move a substantial amount of air or the gen WILL cook itself (trust me on this one, been there now have a large fan on my box). The simple fact that there is now a large hole in the structure takes alot of the noise canceling out of it. my 2 cents.344Views0likes0Comments
