There shouldn't be a problem and it should look terrific. If it was mine, that is what I would do. Let us know how it turns out with pictures. :) Good call, thanks!Re: Stripping Brass Plating DutchmenSport wrote: Personally, I think your shower looks really nice! Why do you want to change it? I'm not a fan of the brass, but it might tone down once I swap out the towel holders, etc.Re: Dropping Off in a Motorhome - DFW AirportProblem solved...updated my car reservations in Dallas to pick up in Grapevine at the Toyota dealership. I may have them pick me up, or just use the MH to run over there, it's like 10 minutes from the RV park.Re: Dropping Off in a Motorhome - DFW AirportThanks all! I'll do some more checking today on possible car options for cars...including Love. We lived in DFW for a few years, but it's been 20 years, and we were out in the Garland/Mesquite area. The RV park is in Grapevine, so I'll see what we can find. Enterprise was our first choice because of the "we'll pick you up" option, but the locations appear to be mostly at car dealerships, and every one that I checked was closed on Sunday. I may be able to just get in on Sunday, and get the car picked up Monday morning at one of the locations, as was suggested.Re: Dropping Off in a Motorhome - DFW AirportI thought the same thing, and possibly true, but NO other options on a Sunday. We are staying about 15 minutes from DFW in an RV park. I think the easiest and cheapest solution will be all Uber or Uber and DART. Thanks for the great advice! No coaches at the airport!Re: Dropping Off in a Motorhome - DFW AirportI wasn't very clear in my original post. We are buying the motorhome in Tulsa, driving to Dallas, and we need a vehicle in Dallas. So we need to pick up a vehicle at the rental center at DFW airport, so we can get around while were in town, and we will return it before we drive the motorhome back to Montana.Re: Dropping Off in a Motorhome - DFW Airport Tyler0215 wrote: A couple of blocks away won't even get you to the end of the parking lot. Maybe try a remote lot for the MH and ride the shuttle to your car. Good idea, I might actually take an Uber from the campground over to the rental car center, which will let me scope it out for the return trip. That'll only cost me about $15 to do that, and no worries about getting the RV in there.Re: Dropping Off in a Motorhome - DFW AirportIt occurred to me that I might be able to take DART as well into the airport.Re: Dropping Off in a Motorhome - DFW Airport IDman wrote: There isn't any such thing as the "couple of blocks away" that you mentioned. Good to know, thank you, looking at Google Maps Sat view, it looks like there are some areas where at least a drop off could happen.Re: Dropping Off in a Motorhome - DFW Airport gbopp wrote: Probably the best advice would be to call the airport police or security department. They can tell you what's possible. Congrats on the rig. (assuming you're just getting it) We'll be waiting for the pictures and info. :) Thanks, I wasn't sure who to call, you can't really just "call the airport", so I'll check with the airport police. Thanks. And yes, just getting the rig, picking up in Tulsa, then driving to DFW, and back here to Montana.
