I can spend the summer season in ? must be close to a fishing lake and have full hook ups and be reasonably priced. im kinda new to full time RVing and dont know where the good places are yet . thanks What kind of fishing? There are so many different places to go in WI depending on what you prefer. I'll have some suggestions being a WI born and raised....and a fisherman and camprer. Just wet a line from time to time. Im not a big time fisherman. Just something to do.Re: Looking for a rv park in WI.Does not matter. Its the cooler temps im looking for. A little lake or river or stream would be nice. It does not have to be a "resort " just nice , quiet and safe.Re: Looking for a rv park in WI.i did not know becomming a snow bird would be so hard. i have checked a few places in WI. and MI. and everybody is booked up and has a waiting list. im new to full time RVing. I thought i would find somewhere up north to spend the summer and a place way down south for the winter. oh well...whats the Secret, what am i missing ?Looking for a rv park in WI.Hi, anyone know of a nice rv park in WI. Its the short wall on the left side over the drivers door. Fiberglass is comming lose at the bottom and rotted wood can be seen. Im guessing it would be better to start digging down to it from the inside ? roof is good its just that darn wall.Re: Wood rot Re: Wood rot winnietrey wrote: IT is FREE! It is old and shot. Use "get rot" Liquid nails, etrnabond tape, dicor and some new wood, spliced in. Cobble it together as best you can. Use it enjoy it, end of the day it is not worth much. Forget about the AC's, throw a battery in it, figure out the lights. Water heater is probably a cheap fix, burned out element. Front end make it safe. Replace the tires as they are probably old and dangerous. End of the day for maybe 1500 to 2k you can make it safe and serviceable. You would be hard pressed to justify spending more on it. Well said my friend !! The voice of reason. Thank you. Look at the NADA value on it, And DO NOT add in options, retail is 3 to 4k. private party value maybe 2K to 2500. As I said cobble it together, make it safe, use it enjoy it. But don't go blowing money on it as you will never get it back out Re: Wood rotKevin , if you can send me a link to those threads. My search comes up with "0" matches for rebuild cab over bunk wall. Tks.Re: Wood rotBill, thank you for scaring me to death. :o !! kevin, i think so the outer fiberglass is delaminated. and thin wood is falling out . the wall paper stuff inside is also comming off.
