The problem with the A/C unit that you have is not something that I have experienced. The heat strip doesn't do as well as does a heat pump but should handle low 50's OK. No problems with the AC.TOM
Jerry if you haven't checked the air pressure and researched proper PSI then that is where I would start. I don't remember recommend amount for RAM 3500. 55 front, 65 rear or something like that.Tom
