All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: NW Florida to Waco TexasI am really glad to see this question asked. A few years ago when I was raising and showing goats I made a trip to west TEXAS for an auction and took the interstate. Highway 84 is just north of here and I think I must have crossed it 4 or 5 times on that trip. 84 is going to be the next planned trip. Not going anywhere, just going. TomRe: tripping with ERA 70AThe problem with the A/C unit that you have is not something that I have experienced. The heat strip doesn't do as well as does a heat pump but should handle low 50's OK. No problems with the AC. TOMRe: TiresJerry if you haven't checked the air pressure and researched proper PSI then that is where I would start. I don't remember recommend amount for RAM 3500. 55 front, 65 rear or something like that. TomRe: New member , ERA ownerI use to show goats in another life. Fuel and feed got to expensive and I got to old. Tomtripping with ERA 70ALast March we purchased a new ERA 70A from a dealer in Nokomis FL which was some 400 or 500 miles from home. Returning home we found a small leak in the wet-bath, not bad but enough to get one's feet wet. Dealer 80 miles away kept unit for a couple of days and could find no problem. While the unit was there I had rear inter wheel valve stem extentions installed. Nice but pricey. Dealer also fixed problem with poor chassis radio reception. Antenna wire had been cut when installed. First long trip to Chicago in July still had slight leak in wet-bath. Seems it leaks only when flush valve is operated and lines are pressurized. Return trip while on secondary roads in central Illinois had this really odd thing going on for a couple of hours with GPS. Have the Rand McNally in dash unit. The GPS is lagging actual position by about 30 seconds. I would be setting at a red light stopped and it is showing us still moving and not at the intersection yet. I pull away from the intersection and GPS still hasn't shown any movement for another 20 - 30 seconds. Camping World in Robertsdale fixed leak and checked GPS, called Winnebago about GPS and did update. Enough for now. TomRe: New member , ERA owner ClearCreekRanch wrote: I have the 70A, too! Just got back from a horse show traveling from NE Texas to Scottsdale, AZ and back again. That should have been a nice trip for this time of year. Were you showing or just viewing? We got out for a short trip today just to stretch our legs. Made a run of about 150 miles to and around Pensacola and back. Nice day. TomRe: Why is the Class B forum so dead? This is something I have been wondering about also. I had looked for an active B forum and this seemed to be the most active one I could find. Just not that much going on. TomRe: New member , ERA ownerDave, Dale & Poppy. Thanks for the welcome. I'm not waiting for warmer weather just a break in wife's schedule. She's in real estate and seems like she has been busy all year. Thinking about maybe making a few short trips. TomRe: New member , ERA ownerNext trip: Looking to start out heading west on highway 84 and see where it takes us. Don't care much for interstates. No Hurry No Worries. Congrats again. Thanks, We do have the 70A.
